Your beach house provides the perfect setting for your dream vacation with four decks and 2000 sf of outdoor living space as well as a newly remodeled 2000 sf interior. Your decks provide the best views in South Mission with a 180 degree unobstructed view of the bay, a six person jacuzzi and an ocean view!
The four decks provide space to barbeque with your family on the first deck while being close to kitchen to spend time with your loved ones, walk upstairs to the jacuzzi to take a relaxing soak, or continue walking upstairs to the 500 sf roof deck to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sailboats go by. Simply turn around to watch for the famous ''green flash'' of one of our amazing sunsets.
The newly remodeled interior features travertine floors, corian counters, surround sound, and a 55'' plasma to watch your favorite teams in High Definition.
The master suite features a walk in closet, built in dressers for ample storage, private bathroom with two sink vanity, a completely tiled walk in shower with built in seating and accent lighting complete the master suite.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed with mirrored closets and has its bathroom adjacent to the room.
The living room has seating for thirteen with a sectional sofa with full pull out sleeper, a six person dining table, and a kitchen counter with stools to match. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances as well as a smoothtop stainless steel stove.
The second floor loft bedroom features the full size bunk beds, small closet for hanging clothes, as well as its own full bathroom.
The first deck is adjacent to the living room, the second is off the southern side of the second floor and has spectacular views of the sunset and is often used for sleeping outside on our famous summer evenings.
The third deck has the six person jacuzzi, Hampton bay outdoor furnishing including two person reclining chaise, and four person tiled patio table. The roof deck is the crown jewel and is unique to the Hutchens House. It is the tallest roof deck among homes in South Mission and has the best views around.
The Hutchens house has a two car private secure garage attached for your convenience, it is full size and fits two cars easily. Here is where you will find your beachcruisers for summer afternoon bike rides as well as beach chairs for watching the sunset on the beach just steps away.
We are pet and child friendly with a focus on providing you with the perfect vacation. Our community has many families as such we only rent to guests 25 years of age or older unless accompanied by parents and no bachelor/bachelorette parties nor spring breakers are allowed.

Thank u Sean .We had a great time ,great views ,fireworks every night.Loved all the different spots to just chill.The market and Sara 's at your footsteps awesome!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks for the review Brian, the top deck has great views of the nightly fireworks at Sea World, its definitely something special. The description may not mention the nightly fireworks but they are spectacular. The proximity of the Hutchens house to the beach and bay are great, but some folks also appreciate the fact that there is delicious Mexican food a block away as well as a market right next door.

Staying in this house definitely made my stay in San Diego that much more cooler. Its about a 10 minute walk to great restaurants/bars and there is a market right next door. The layout of the house is great and the two decks is a really nice touch when you have a reunion of friends. Everything written in the posting is spot on. Thanks again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

This was our family's first visit to San Diego. We could not have asked for a better location in the area. Literally steps away from the Ocean and the Bay. Great neighborhood with easy accessability to whatever you may need. The house was ideal - so clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with all the necessities. The decks are such a great feature - we enjoyed all of them, especially the hot tub level. The bikes, the beach toys, everything we needed for the complete San Diego experience. The best part about the Hutchens House was dealing with the owner. He was extremely helpful in every way, and though we did not need to contact him during our stay, I knew he was accessible. Thanks for a great vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Why the Owner Chose Mission Beach:
My family and I are from San Diego, I grew up fifteen minutes away and fell in love with this community while I lived here during graduate school. This community is close to everything, the beaches and bay while being secluded enough to not have traffic or crowds. My favorite things while living here were summertime bike rides and sitting on the beach with nothing but space on either side of me. I love this place and know you will too.
