There were 4 of us; 3 skiers, one not. This was the perfect location, close to the slopes and downtown. Phil was a great host and even offered a ride to the non skier! The apartment was well appointed and comfortable. Highly recommend!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

My son and I stayed for about a week of skiing. Very comfortable home. Kitchen had everything we needed although we didn't do much cooking. Full size stove and refrigerator. Beds comfortable. Very good TV. About 4 blocks from full service grocery. Close to some good hiking trails which we did, although too much snow to explore completely. Phil was very helpful with our transportation needs, and has a good knowledge of the area. The home is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Didn't spend any time in the yard, but it looked like it would be comfortable in warmer weather.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

My husband and I stayed at the property for 4 nights. Phil was very welcoming and friendly. We were really comfortable at the property. Even though it was really cold outside (7 degrees!), the home felt very warm. The architecture of the house was wonderful. My husband did an iFly camp for 4 days, so he was happy to sleep on the really comfortable King bed at night. I'd recommend this house to anyone staying in Ogden.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

This home was a perfect spot for me to meet with clients for the day and to also stay on my own with my dog Gus! Geri is an amazing artist and decorator...imagine staying in an art gallery...only cozy! The kitchen was stocked with basics that you can use to cook, a CD player to listen to tunes, wireless internet, even throws to wrap myself in as I read. Gus and I took an awesome hike on the Rainbow Trail (basically out the front door!) and also felt very safe walking in the neighborhood after dark. The 25th Street Downtown area is very fun and a short drive away. My wife and our dog enjoyed a great weekend in this very cosy & comfortable house. Phil & Geri were terrific hosts and gave us a big welcome on arrival, followed by a complete rundown on the house. The decor provides a fantastic warmth and all the furnishings are comfortable.You can cook-in as has all the applicances you need, or you can head out as close to downtown Ogden (Jasoh "Prime" restaurant we found exellent). Staying for a weekend of hiking (Malan's Peak hike offers some great views), the house has prime location to the start of many trails. Great yard for our dog to play in as well as a park across the road. Note the owners live at the property, but you won't hear a sound from them as the insulation is fantastic - handy if you need anything or have any queries or issues, but for us no need and no intrusion from them. Property was very clean and well maintained. Really a wonderful place for a weekend getaway (good value for money too) and we'll be returning for sure for another weekend or two exploring Ogden.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

Charming cozy home nestled away at base of mountain. Plenty of yard and grass for our 4 legged family members. Home was clean and had all amenities needed. Home owners were very easy and plesant to deal with. I look forward to another week away to unplug in fresh air and recharge.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

My husband and I had the loveliest time last week staying in the most delightful home on the shoulders of the Wasatch Mountains. The gardens were beautiful with a tree house and swings to entertain our Granddaughter for hours. Our hosts, Jerry and Phil were always available for whatever help was needed along with loads of local lore. The house is darling, unique and filled with Jerri's beautiful art. We plan to return next year and highly recommend it to our friends and family.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

This great landmark home was built by Geri's parents and friends with a building system they invented and patented there are 3 others with this system in the Salt Lake area.Her parents bought 2 building lots so that the house would face the west over looking the city's views, considered one of the best view lots in the Ogden area.
