The cottage is located in the Sparrow Pond Community on Kiawah Island (1037 Warbler Court)and is a five-minute walk to the beach. You can hear the ocean from our large sun deck and screened porch. Fully renovated cottage featuring hardwood floors, an expanded kitchen and a built-in entertainment/home theater system. Wireless Internet service is provided. All of our guests have free access to the private Sparrow Pond pool, just a quick three minute walk from the cottage.
The West Beach Market (shopping and dining) is within walking distance. Freshfields Village is located just ten minutes (by car) from the cottage and offers a grocery store, shops, medical services, community events and many dining options.

(Copied from our cottage guest book). 2/26 – 3/26 ’04 Dear Ballards, What a charming island get-away! Everything was perfect except for the weather. Our fifth year spending March on Kiawah and it was the coldest, however, better than the snow we missed in Wisconsin. Spring weather made a wrong turn somewhere. Don’t know what the cottage looked like before the renovation, it is now perfect. We had a wonderful time and love historic Charleston.
