The Property
This family owned property on beautiful Webster Lake is located on Killdeer Island and positioned along Indian Point. Unique features include a quiet street, flat lot, sandy beach, gentle water entry, clear water swimming, waterfront on both the back and front of the home, and water views from every room.
The home is centrally located between Boston, Providence, Springfield and Hartford.
The Interior
This 2600 sq ft home has 3 spacious bedrooms and two and ½ baths and can comfortably sleep 4 adults and 6 children.
The open floor plan on the main floor offers a spacious dining area and a state of the art kitchen including granite countertops and Viking appliances. The family room contains a large wood burning fireplace with new furnishings, a wall mounted flat screen TV, DVD player, Cable TV and wireless internet. Large windows facing the lake provide a bright and picturesque view from the kitchen and living room area. The decor is a cozy mixture of beach and boating. The new furnishings are all comfortably arranged in a practical, user friendly way. The feeling here at Camp Run A Muck is luxurious, charming and hospitable.
You will enter the home through the side door placing you in a roomy entryway looking into the well equipped kitchen. As you turn towards the lake you will see the living room and dinning area with with a double French Door leading to the lakefront. The living room area comfortable seats 6 and is cozy and complete with a large stone fireplace. This area is great for movie nights or a winter retreat by the fire. In addition to the kitchen island which seats six, the dinning area comfortably seats an additional four. The garage has been converted into a large recreational room for the children to escape from a long day of water fun. This room is equipped with a ping pong table, sofa and love seat for viewing tv or video gaming (PS2 provided bring games or DVDs, and a craft area for little ones to color, do puzzles or play games (some provided). This room also has supplemental heating for those who are enjoying a winter get-a-way.
The second floor is host to the three bedroom areas all of which have new furniture and bedding. The master suite is host to the best view in the house. The elevated king size bed gives the feeling of floating on the water and the roomy storage area for clothing make the master suite a dream home away from home. The master bath has the added bonus of a two person Jacuzzi and a large changing area. The second bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and a small porch area to enjoy another beautiful view of the lake. The bunkroom is a great place to sleep the children. It has four beds, three of which have trundles to host a friend.
The Exterior
The fenced in lawn is a great place for the family to enjoy fun outdoor activities. Paved parking for 3 cars and grass parking for 3 additional vehicles or boat/jet ski trailers. The front of the house facing the water has a small but charming beach area for the little ones to play in the sand. The gentle water entrance makes this easy to manage small children. The main dock off the front of the house is a great place to drop line, dock a boat or simply run and jump into the water. Relax on one of our eight Adirondack chairs on the grass area or soak up sun on a three-person swing and enjoy the view.
The lakes summer activities include: boating, swimming, jet-skiing, water skiing, tubing, fishing, sailing, and 4th of July fireworks over the lake.
The lakes winter activities include: snow mobiling, cross country skiing, snow-shoeing, and fishing.
The Surrounding Area
Webster Lake is a thirty minute drive to Old Sturbridge Village & Brimfield Antiques Fair, less than one hour to Boston & one hour drive to Casinos, Foxwoods & Mohegan Sun. For downhill skiing close by at Wachuesttet Mountain is less than one hour to the north. There are also 15 golf courses within a 15 mile radius.

I would recommend renting this property to anyone who asked. The owners are easy to communicate with, and responded quickly to questions. The house is roomier than the pictures show. 8-10 people really can sleep comfortably in the house, yet it would still feel cozy for 2-4 people. The kitchen is great for cooking in, and the appliances are all in great shape. It was very clean. There is plenty for people of all ages to do. A great view of the lake. The lake is completely accessible right from the back yard for a swim or boat ride. You can catch bass and sunfish right off the dock. I would not hesitate to rent this property again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

Now I can say it!!! Lake Chargoggagogg...... Here you can do so many things. Relaxation, sightseeing, shopping :-) We had a wonderfull vacation. Thank you Tammy and Jeff. Tammy is a wonderful hostess with a beautiful property. The communication was very good and we had no problems checking in or out. The house shows even better in person than it does in photos. It was immaculate and well appointed and the lake is clean and gorgeous. There is a small beach area with plenty of toys that my toddler loved. My older children loved the garage-converted rec room, complete with ping pong table. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a great vacation!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.
