Casa Amarilla is a great little house on the island of Vieques. We are located in the fishing village of Esperanza on the southern or Caribbean side of the island.
The rental portion of our house - the entire second floor - is a private, completely self-contained apartment which can be rented by the week. The second floor includes a huge, covered deck with glorious views of the ocean, the surrounding mountains, and the evening sunset. The deck is completely private, it faces the ocean, and is open on three sides to take advantage of the constant breeze.
The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac, so there is no traffic, yet we are close to everything. Less than a block from the house is a bakery and a colmado or local grocery store. The Malecon, which is the strip of shops and restaurants facing the waterfront, is two blocks away. And one of the best beaches on Vieques, Sun Bay, is within an easy 15 minute walk.
