  let me start off by saying bob, the owner, was wonderful and extremely responsive to all of our needs. for us, that is paramount and probably worth another stay. as for the condo itself: we typically stay in very beautiful condos and houses for our ski vacations. this was not one of them. it was outdated and well...just a bit drab. it was somewhat disappointing (at least for the women, not so much for the guys) when we first walked in as it was not particularly lovely as we are used to. however, as the week went on, we grew quite comfortable here and even my typically fussy mother commented on how comfortable she was. the kitchen, always a hugely important part for us, was indeed a cook's kitchen. we were not lacking in cookware or utensils, and were even pleasantly surprised at some unexpected items. there are 2 separate bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms, which was terrific and exactly as advertised. the beds are indeed quite comfortable, as bob said he had received in feedback. we slept great. not much of a view from either bedroom, and one of the bedrooms doesn't have a window at all (much to my folks' disdain). the living room was very comfortable with the fireplace, dimmed lighting and TV/stereo. eventually we figured out how to turn on the A/V system and the fireplace, but it took a bit. would be helpful to have a book on the living room table with all the info you might want when you walk into a home for the first time (i think we eventually found some info on the fridge). although it's fairly walkable to lionshead, the shuttle into town is the real convenience here. you can walk out the front door and be at the shuttle stop in 60 seconds. although we did not find the condo beautiful, it was absolutely comfortable, had great details, excellent rates and a fantastic owner. would stay again.

I had thought the details on the fridge and on the entertainment center would suffice as guides, but I'll add a book on the counter as well. I would like to clarify one point in your review in that both bedrooms do indeed have windows. With the bedrooms being on opposite sides of the condo, only one has the mountain view while the other faces the pool. Thanks again for enjoying your stay.   We rented the condo for a recent ski trip for 2 couples and it was great. We loved that we each had our own bedroom and bathroom (which we weren't finding many others in the same price range). The commute the Lionshead was pretty short and the underground parking was great. Would recommend!

  Not only is the condo very conveniently located to the shuttle, but the shuttle is only two stops from the Vail Station. Critical when you are like us and want to get to the mountain as early as possible every morning for freshies. Kitchen is stocked very well and the condo in general has a lived in feel, which in our experience always makes for the best rentals. Humidifiers, hand lotion, and a Waren Miller movie... what else could you need?

  Perfect condo for no hassle trip in Vail. The ground floor unit makes for effortless loading and unloading of equipment and suitcases - no schlepping! Also, surprisingly quiet. The unit has everything needed including a really nice TV, DVD player, etc. and lots of extra bedding. The owners are terrific and very responsive; even answered questions over the weekend. Super conveninet to have major grocery store just down the street. Love the big deck too. This is our vacation destination from now on!

  We had a great time escaping the heat in Denver for a couple days - and staying here made it even better. The comforts of home and the genuine hospitality of the owners are unmatched to any other condo experience we've had on the front range. The condo is convenient to Lionshead and has a great park nearby for the kids. The condo was kid-friendly as well. We would stay here again for sure.

  We were pleasantly surprised by the size and convenience of this Vail condo. The kitchen is well appointed and the bedrooms are quite large and comfortable. Having the extra bathroom was great as well. They even have a boot dryer for your boots after a day on the slopes! The couple left a note with recommended restaurants, we really felt welcome and look forward to returning!

  This condo had everything we needed for a very enjoyable few days in Vail! It was clean, comfortable and only a few minutes to walk to the shuttle. Several times we choose to walk to the village on our own - made it in less than 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. A good deal!

  The condo is clean and well stocked, with all different of spices one will use at home. The condo is well designed, very functional. The owner is very responsive and flexible in meeting my needs. The transportation is convenient and frequent and it takes right to the center of Vail Village. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

  My family and I have been Vail regulars for 40 years, and have stayed in this unit exclusively for the past decade. For us it really has become home for us when we come to ski. This well furnished two bedroom condo is well located in the Valley. Seconds from the shuttle, minutes from the center of town, and grocery stores the other way. The owners are gracious, nice, and helpful in every way. They are not out of state, and this is important if anything should arise. Who says Vail has to be pricey to enjoy. I highly recommend.
