  This condo was exactly as shown and described, except for a small discrepancy between pictures and description - the bed is a queen not a king, but still one of the more comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on at a rental property. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots and pans for pretty much anything we could want to cook. It may be a little cramped for more than two people, but it was definitely good for a weekend getaway for two. I would only add that the WiFi is only at the clubhouse, and not in the apartment, but I actually see that as a plus for a vacation. Great deal and for less than a hotel too! The owner was easy to contact and pleasant to work with. I couldn't ask for a better location if you're planning to spend the time at the beach. Even though you can drive and park straight on the beach, we found it easier to just take the couple minute walk over. I highly recommend heading over to JB's German Bakery just a few minutes drive while you're here. The pastries were delicious, and I also had the best French Toast I've ever tasted there. And for days you'd rather stay in, there is an HEB Plus and a Walmart conveniently located right before the causeway to the island. I'm definitely keeping this rental on my list for any return trips to the area!

  This place was perfect for my pregnant wife and me. We didn't need a large place to stay, and we didn't feel like the place was small either, given that it's a studio. It was perfect. There's a large, comfy bed and cold A/C, a kitchen with everything you need to cook (including microwave), a nice sofa placed at the perfect viewing distance from the large flat screen TV, and I could just go on and on. The swimming pool is maintained very well, and the patrons all seemed to be mindful of each other, which is not something you can say about the crowds at a hotel/motel pool. And, if you're not into swimming pools when you're at the coast, the stroll to the gulf is only about 300 yards along the sidewalk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will probably end up there again in a couple of years when our little girl is old enough to run around the beach. We also noticed that everyone has dogs down there. I guess we'll need to bring one with us next time just to fit in. NOTES TO FUTURE DWELLERS: 1.) There is tar on the beach, even though you may not notice it, so don't wear your shoes on the sand if you want to keep the bottoms free of the black, sticky mess. 2.) We left a full bottle of Goo Gone and a few new sponge scrubbers in the unit for future rentors to easily clean their feet with after returning from the beach. 3.) Bring your own chairs if you like to sit on a porch while enjoying your favorite beverage. The porch has a direct view of the swimming pool and an indirect view of the coastline, but it has no chairs. 4.) We highly recommend eating out for breakfast. The Mexican restaurant sharing the Ace Hardware building is awesome and cheap (homemade tortillas - corn and flour). The German bakery is out of this world delicious, and they have grrrreat coffee. 5.) Don't try to do too much in one day. Just wing it and relax. I did this for the first time in my adult life, and it was unbelievably rewarding.

  Let me just say we "hit the jackpot" finding this rental! Especially the same day as our arrival! 1st off, Glen was super friendly & quick in his responses by email & text. The room was super close to the pool & our parking spot. It's been recently renovated & the decor was current & chic unlike a lot of the coastal condo rentals we've stayed in that are dated. The bed & sleeper sofa were so comfortable & our favorite part of all was the shower... FINALLY a place with excellent water pressure! For the price, this rental is more than worth it & then some! Very quiet, infact we never saw another person in the building our entire stay. We enjoyed the pool- it wasn't crowded & was clean. We will DEFINITLY be returning in the near future! : )

  The place looks exactly the way it does on the pictures on the website. Great view of the gulf, too! Suggest paying with credit card (we had some issues paying with a check) through the website. Very clean. Very pleased with the arrangements before our stay.
