This charming, 1950s red brick home is located on Delaware Court, just 1/2 block from the bluff overlooking Lake MI. Walk down the street and watch the gulls swoop, the sailboats slide across, the kiteboards jump the waves and enoy the amazing sunsets. Relaxation begins as you drive down the street, seeing the sunlight filter through the canopy of trees. The house is surprisingly large on the inside with large rooms and open floor plan. The living room is comfortable and invites reading, watching TV or snoozing in front of a fire on a cool night. The large adjacent dining room is great for eating, working at the side table on your computer or playing a game with family or friends. Off the dining room is a large four-season porch, perfect for eating, relaxing or even sleeping on the queen sized hideabed. The new floor brings a fresh look to the compact kitchen and it is well-stocked with all necessary small appliances, kitchen supplies and spices. There's a new refrigerator, microwave and toaster over, too. If you like to cook or bake, the range and wall oven make it easy.
The newly redecorated, spacious master bedroom has a view of the lake. The blue walls and crisp white trim welcome you and invite wonderful sleeping on the queen size bed. Two large closets hold your clothes along with the ratan dresser. Read or relax on the setee or chair. Freshly painted, the large middle bedroom is quaintly decorated with an antique double bed and dresser. The third bedroom is also large and can sleep three with a futon and single bed. Both second and third bedrooms have hardwood floors, comfortable beds and plenty of closet space. The full bath boasts pink and blue tile, reminiscent of the 50s, and meets the needs of the modern family well. There's a small area to the side for putting on make up or drying your hair. The half bath is off the kitchen, easily accessible to the outdoors as well.
The patio has outdoor furniture, grill and line for drying beach towels and bathing suits. There's a full basement with washer and dryer.
The new air-conditioner will keep you cool on hot days and nights. The garage has chairs and beach toys to take to the beach.
The house is just a 10 min walk to Lake Michigan beach access and Kid's Corner Park. Enjoy the sounds of the lake from the enclosed porch, or walk to the bluff at the end of the block to take in the breathtaking sunsets over the lake.

Perfect location, not to close to town but close enough for food and entertainment. Has a great place to just relax and watch the sunset over the lake. Very clean, quiet, nice decor, overall awesome for a honeymoon. Pure Michigan!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

About the owner: We enjoy renovating and decorating this wonderful house in South Haven. The rooms are large and very well-built. We have spent many fun and relaxing hours in this house alone or with friends and family.

Children love to play and climb on the elaborate jungle gym at Kid's Park across the street from South Beach. Walk the piers, enjoy Sherman's ice cream and the many wonderful restaurants and shopping in town.
