Renovated and newly decorated the condo has all new furniture, flooring, Sealy queen mattress, linens and towels. The new queen sleeper sofa has upgraded Sealy mattress with memory foam topper. New 32' flat screen TV in the bedroom. A cable is there to hook up your laptop or internet device. Right next to one of the cleanest beaches in the nation in a quiet location but only minutes from the heart of Carolina Beach. Although the address is Canal Dr, the condo is actually on Sand Fiddler Lane, the one block seperating Canal Dr and Carolina Beach Ave. The condo is on the second floor, accessed by four short flights of stairs. Public access and the best surf on the island is on the doorstep along with Freeman Park one block away: http://www.pleasureislandnc.org/freeman-park/ The pool couldn't be closer!
Visit the beautiful marina area for fishing charters, sunset, dinner and party cruises and the island's boardwalk for shops and restaurants. Visit the famous Squiggley's Ice Cream Palour. There is no need to haul a bunch of stuff with you on top of your car, we have folding beach chairs, coolers and lots of beach towels. A few minutes in the car or a leisurely walk will get you to local grocery stores and most of the major restaurant chains are within a ten minute drive.
In fifteen minute you will be in the historic city of Wilmington. The restored Victorian and Georgian river front downtown has brick streets, waterfront restaurants, loads of antique shops, horse-drawn carriage rides as well as the USS North Carolina Battleship Memorial.
The new North Carolina Aquarium is at the south end of the island next to historic Fort Fisher. Daily programs include divers who swim with sharks and rays and a touching pond for the kids. You can take a beautiful 30 minute ferry ride from Fort Fisher to Southport, another historic and beautiful town on the water.
There's even a zoo!

*Guests can assume responsibility for cleaning, laundering towels and linens and re-making the bed. The condo must be left at the end of the stay exactly as it was found ready for the next guest. An inspection will be carried out before refund of the security deposit is approved. Any cleaning and laundering charges found to be necessary upon inspection will be deducted from the security deposit.

This was our first trip to Carolina Beach and needless to say we will definately be returning! The condo is just a short walk to beach which was great and it offered everything we needed for our weekly stay. The condo was very clean upon arrival and nicely decorated. We would highly recommand this condo to anyone looking for a nice getaway :)Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This a great little condo. It's beautifully and comfortably decorated and very clean. The location is great too. It's away from the main crowds of people, but conveniently close to anything you need. The beach and pool are just a few steps away. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on our vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This was our first trip to Carolina Beach, NC. The weather was awesome and we had a great time! The condo was fully equipped with everything we needed so that was very nice. Having 2 bathrooms was a big bonus as well. The condo inside was very clean! The area was very nice as well, friendly people, quiet area, and you are just steps to the beach. If you want to check out some other areas though (i.e. Wilmington) it is nice to have a car. Overall we had a great trip and we will return! Thanks!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
