Nestled in the tall, refreshing pines of Ruidoso, NM, the log cabin is set off the road and in walking distance of the Lincoln National Forest. The 2300 square foot cabin offers an open kitchen and living area as well as two spacious bedrooms. The vaulted ceilings and picturesque windows offer beautiful views of the forest.
Enjoy relaxing on the large walk around porch while deer and turkey romp past. Snugle up by the log fireplace in the evenings for a movie and popcorn. The cabin is just minutes from the center of city. Shopping, skiing, sledding, and golf are just a few of the area attractions available. Build a snowman in the winter or walk just minutes to the small creek down the street. The Cedar Creek area also has a wonderful fitness and bike trail just down the street. Whether you are looking for an action packed vacation, or a serene, relaxing vacation, this cabin can offer an unforgettable experience.

We went on a family ski trip and rented this place over the Christmas break. It is as awesome or even better than the pictures. It is a great place for adults and kids. It has a very open floor plan. We ended up getting snowed in and could not get out to the mountain, but had more fun at the house with the sleds that were there already than we did at the mountain. The kids and adults sledded down the hill right out the door and were entertained for countless hours. There were tons of deer and bucks around for everyone to see. Even had my nephew have one eat out of his hand. You really don't even have to leave the cabin. Everything in the house was in great condition and made for a perfect family vacation. The owners were great to work with and an overall excellent trip. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place with us!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

Their are deer and turkey that dine on the vegetation on the property. 'The Fire Cabin' is just a few minutes from great restaurants, a grocery store, movie theatre, skiing, and shopping.
