  For the price, this place was fantastic! Easy check in, easy parking, spacious enough for 2 of us. The kitchen worked out well, and we bbq'ed chicken on the patio our second night. There is a hot tub which is great for after skiing, and there is a lift 2 blocks away you can walk to that takes you to the mountain.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

  Pros: rate, only about 300 yds to Village Gondola, comfortable master bed, decent view from deck, nicely appointed kitchen appliances and untensils. The owner is also readily available over the phone/email and is quickly responsive to any inquiries. He also seems like a nice and caring owner - very much appreciated in VRBO rentals! Thank you sir! Cons: Poor heating (condo never got warm), worn unit (floors, counters, blinds, bath tubs all show extensive use and age), Lake Mary Road lacks much shoulder and no sidewalks upon which to walk, fireplace does not vent well (smoky smell throughout unit), walls in kitchen splashed with orange something, and trundle bed was not moved for vacuuming. Overall if your just looking for a decent place to sleep and will spend most of your time on the mountain and in the village (to eat), and are looking for an inexpensive rate - this is the place for you.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers.

I agree that is a great view from my deck and balcony, thats why I purchased my unit, I bought the view. As for the heating & other items I will have our maintenance crew look into it.   The condo was great and had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend of skiing in Mammoth! It is very close to the lifts and is very cozy. The owner was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The condo was very clean and perfect for our group of friends. We would definitely stay again! Thanks Ron!

  Stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the trip. Condo is close to the Village and lifts. Very cozy, clean and quiet. The owner is like family. Very easy to get along with and helpful. Would definetly recomend this unit to others.

  Pros: price, location, and a friendly owner...sorry Ron, but these cons are truthful, please address them for future renters Cons: RUSTED PIPES (no body likes showering or brushing teeth in brown water), 56 steps straight up from the parking lot are a pain in the ass and lungs at elevation, the freezer smells like something died in there 20 years ago, there was hair in the shower upon arrival suggesting a poor cleaning, the hot tub by the pool was 98 degrees at best and not therapeutic.

  Owner response: Your right, The location of the unit even with steps give you a Spectacular view of the complete Mammoth Valley and Mountains at Sherwin Bowl. The PRICE PER NIGHT is one of the BEST in Mammoth for this type of unit with a KING SIZE BED ALL YEAR. As far as the pipes are concerned the complete building has been repiped maybe there was something in the city lines being flushed out. I will address the cleaning items with the cleaning service.   We were pleased with our condo once we got into it. After hauling all our stuff up to the top floor on the side of the building that showed the condo numbers 9-16 (which included our number) we discovered our condo was on the opposite side. So...back down the stairs to the other side and back up to the third floor. It would be helpful to show which condos were on which side, perhaps at the bottom of each flight of stairs. Otherwise, everything was great!

The Building was recently painted and the unit numbers were placed on the side of the building, those numbers should of been placed on the front of the building where they were prior to the building being painted, this has been corrected now.   We just got back from a wonderful stay in Mammoth at this cozy condo. After just a short walk the next morning, we were riding the village gondola up to the slopes with our three boys. We all enjoyed the condo. It was cozy and comfortable and the boys just loved the jacuzzi. It had everything we needed for our stay. The owner is very helpful and nice and is very accommodating. He was very quick to respond to any questions. Thanks for the great stay and for making our first family ski trip to Mammoth affordable! We loved it. We hope to come back next season.

  we loved this place. super cute. perfect size for the 4 of us. having 2 bathrooms was great! location was perfect. close walk to the village. didn't have to drive all weekend. the owner is a sweetheart and very helpful. will totally stay here again and again! thanks :)

  Really enjoyed our time up here, my 2 year old loved the big indoor jacuzzi ... like the place and the owner is great.... will stay here again :-)
