The Guest House at Venteux Vineyards in Templeton is the perfect home and location when visiting Paso Robles Wine Country. It is ideal for three couples traveling together or family gatherings. The newly remodeled and furnished 3 bedroom home is situated on 12 acres that will soon be planted adjoining the adjacent 10 acre estate vineyard. The home features a large gourmet kitchen, comfortable family room with 42" flat screen and i-pod docking station, breakfast nook, dining room with table for 8, a living room/wine lounge, and three beautifully furnished bedrooms. The master has a king-size bed and the two additional bedrooms have queen beds. All top-of-the-line kitchen items and linens are provided. The patio is perfect for alfresco dining. A bottle of Venteux wine will be there to welcome you when you arrive. Your kitchen will be stocked with coffee, creamer, juice, fruit and a few items to get your day started. Trader Joe's, Pier 46 (our favorite fish market), J&R Meats, and 15C (the counties best wine bar and shop), are within a 5 minute drive. If you have special requests, Bobbi is happy to help. And for about the same price as going out for dinner, our favorite chef will come prepare a gourmet meal in the privacy of your home away from home!
When visiting, guests are welcome to complimentary tasting in our Tasting Room and are encouraged to participate or just relax and enjoy the day to day activities of a working winery. With the very best west-side wineries nearby along with fabulous restaurants within minutes in Templeton and Paso Robles, you can stay for days and days and not run out of places to experience.
And when you've had enough wine tasting and gourmet meals, there is so much more to do and explore close by. Paso Robles and Templeton have farmers markets, festivals, charming shops and many activities. Bringing the kids? There are great places the kids will love. Love the coast? Cayucos, Cambria, Hearst Castle, Morro Bay and Avila Beach are favorite spots a short drive away.

We stayed at the Venteux guest house for four nights with two other couples and were absolutely thrilled. The house is beautifully decorated with everything anyone could need. From plush towels and lovely linens to the Venteux wine, everything was top of the line. After a long day of traveling, the guest house proved to be a Mecca as Bobbi provided snacks and plenty of breakfast items to start our first full day. The guest house is extremely large with space not typically found in vacation homes. The separate living room/wine lounge provided a welcome alternative to the family room with the large screen TV and its continual "Olympics commentary/reruns". The kitchen is extremely spacious accommodating multiple cooks at one time. The breakfast area is warm and welcoming while the dining room provided the upscale ambience for more formal dinners. Visiting Venteux Winery is always a treat as they produce a fantastic selection of wines. Wine tasting at the winery is a definite must when in Templeton. The location is great, right in the middle of the wine country and convenient to grocery shopping and restaurants. Bobbi was extremely helpful, providing us great ideas of where to go for wine tasting and other activities. her thoughtfulness made the experience even more welcoming. Definitely the place to stay when in Templeton.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I can't say enough good things about Venteux's guest home. We stayed at the home for the weekend to celebrate a 40th birthday - 3 couples. The home has every ammenity you would need - everything is top of the line and the home is very inviting and comfortable. The location is great - close to great wineries and dining. This is truly a home away from home. We can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My husband and I visit Paso Robles several times a year and we usually like to stay with Ventuex Vineyards. We always stay at their beautiful B&B , however this time we had a larger party and Bobbie, one of Venteux's owners, suggested their new Guest House. WOW, we were blown away when we walked in the door. First class decor, immaculately clean and just steps away from their winery! The house was decked out with every amenity you could want or need for your vacation not to mention Bobbie added some of her special touches (as she always does) to make us feel extra special. We didn't want to leave. If you are looking for relaxed luxury in a home style setting - this is it! Its a beautiful home away from home that will make your wine country vacation a very memorable one ! Be sure to taste all the amazing wines Venteux pours in their tasting room - you won't leave without some!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

About the owner: Bobbi Stelzle will welcome you and be your contact when you rent the guest home at Venteux Vineyards. She and her husband Scott run the day to day operations at Venteux. Bobbi also runs the B&B and Barn on the property. Venteux is the vision and passion of two families, The Stelzle's and the Goldenberg's, coming together to create a world class vineyard and winery operation, with small lots of premium wines. We are continually working to improve and maintain a healthy and beautiful property for our neighbors, our wine-country visitors and ourselves.
Why the Owner Chose Templeton:
This 12 acre property is adjacent to Venteux Vineyards 10 acre estate winery and vineyard. The newly remodeled 3 bedroom home and property allows us to add to our estate vineyard and also provide our guests more lodging options. There are two B&B rooms plus a barn apartment on the estate.
