We literally booked this vacation home last minute as the house we had originally booked was unsuitable for our stay. Chris & Olive were wonderful hosts...they accommodated our last minute request with ease and allowed us to come and take a look around the home before making our decision to stay there. The house was CLEAN (our main concern after our problems with the first house) and spacious with room enough for our party of eight. It had all of the modern conveniences one would expect including an INDOOR washer and dryer (not the case with our first house!). The house is in the perfect location within walking distance of a nice shop and convenience store and super close (by car)to the charming shops and pubs of Doolin village. All of this combined with a view of the ocean made for a perfect base for exploring the west of Ireland! Stay here and you will not be disappointed!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our group of friends stayed in the Wishing Well House over New Year's and couldn't have asked for a better experience! The house was beautiful, spacious and clean. The rooms were all a great size and we all were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast/dining room with great views and it was a nice area for people to socialize that did not want to watch TV in the sitting room. We loved the stove and all the seating in the sitting room as well. The owners were incredibly accommodating, keeping in touch with us by phone before our arrival and providing us with taxi numbers and information about the area at the house. Everyone in our party agreed that we DEFINITELY hope to return for another stay in the future! Thank you!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our extended family had a great pre-Christmas get together in this lovely house. It exceeded our expectations in terms of space, comfort, views, convenience and value. The rooms very lovely and the kitchen was new yet charming. The living room was cozy and we enjoyed our evening fires. Olive and Chris were very helpful and gracious. We highly recommend this wonderful holiday home!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: I am running a very successful Bed & Breakfast in Doolin Village for the past 15 years where we live... Last year we opened a restaurant in Doolin , The Riverside Bistro , which was a marvellous success with both locals and visitors... we intend to build on its success in the coming years so all visitors to Doolin can enjoy great affordable food in lovely surroundings.
