Our spacious guest rooms are beautifully decorated with ample furniture and first class amenities. Beautiful master bedroom suite with your own private, cozy reading area. Relax and unwind in the master bedroom tub with relaxing jets. Luxury quality queen mattresses are set up in the master and first guest bedroom, while third guest bedroom has 2 twin mattresses. All beds are furnished with 400 plus thread count linens for your comfort as well as plush comforters and pillows. Pamper yourself in our handsomely appointed bathrooms.
The living room is surrounded by tower windows that overlook the village below, as well as stunning ocean views. Beautiful and inviting luxury furniture and amenities finish the room, along with a gas fire place and exquisite decor from local artists.
Kitchen is fully stocked with modern amenities and appliances. Enjoy an evening in with a complete dinette set with ample seating at the dining table for the whole family, or enjoy a more intimate setting for two. Dining room overlooks the garden and mountains.
The decks are furnished with beautiful and comfortable patio/deck furniture. Relax and kickback on the deck with a drink and your loved ones while watching the picturesque sunset over the ocean. More of a nature connoisseur? Witness the diverse wildlife that inhabits our wonderful lot, ranging from wild turkeys, deers, and occasionally peacocks. Enjoy bird watching? Come and see the various species of birds that inhabit the surrounding area including eagles, falcons, doves, and amazing hummingbirds.
The home is also located next to the famous 'Nit Wit Ridge,'' built in 1928 by Captain Nit Wit, which is listed on the National register of the historic landmarks.
Take the Cambria Village trolley along Main Street through the East & West Village to local shops, art galleries and gourmet restaurants and cafes. Visit the local wine vineyards in neighboring Atascadero and Paso Robles, where you can taste many local and world famous wines as well as indulge in the various tours that are offered.
Lots of things to do in the village! Attend local BBQ's, the Farmer's market, art shows and exhibitions, music festivals and many other local coastal events.
Want to go the beach? Enjoy the short walk to Moonstone Beach and experience Cambria's magnificent public park and hills. The house is close to miles of rugged coastline and is a beachcomber's paradise. The beaches are covered with tiny, smooth semiprecious stones and there are tide pools overflowing with marine life. Take a walk on the wonderful boardwalk or just go barefoot in the sand.

Just wanted to say Thank You for allow us Ladies to spend a beautiful and relaxing weekend in your lovely home. We all enjoyed the ocean view from the sunny deck and all the interesting art/sculptures and collectables. It was so much fun as we sat in different places to say, " oh, look, I didn't notice that piece before". I have recommended your home to some friends and hope we can rent it in the future. We've taken almost six months to write this review because we can't find the words to properly express how fantastic this property is. We had the most wonderful, relaxing, romantic getaway at "our Castle." Hands down, this was my best vacation ever - and my first VRBO experience. My boyfriend made the arrangements, and from all reports, things could not have gone more smoothly in setting up the stay. He also mentioned many times how prompt the owner was in responding to his queries. The owners were extremely professional and helpful, though the Castle was so well-appointed, we didn't have much occasion to ask for anything. There was just the two of us in the wonderful property, and while it felt like we should have more people to soak in the atmosphere, fantastically relaxing to ramble through the gorgeous setting, just the two of us. There is gorgeous decking on the side of the house. I wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the deck more often. No doubt we will return for at least that purpose! I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when we return to Cambria. While at the house, we saw deer, wild turkey, and some other native wildlife which made hanging out on the deck entertaining. We had a hard time tearing ourselves from the property, there was so much atmosphere there it was difficult to imagine having a better time elsewhere. Of course, there are many things to do within walking or short-driving distance, but I'd love to go back and stay essentially put in the Castle! The house/deck/property etc. were all exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Not only *would* I recommend this property to a friend/relative, I already have. Though, I hope it remains secret enough that when the boyfriend and I are ready to return, we are assured accommodations at this wonderful spot!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

This was first time going to see Cambria, but I have been to other beaches, so I had a good picture in my head of how the houses were going to look like, but this house completely blew me away. The structure of it and the precise location of it....I was speechless. The house is just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside; all the rooms are flawless and have a homey feeling to them which added on to the beach scene. My vacation was short, but there is no doubt that I will be returning. If you are thinking of getting away and take your mind off the crowded, stuffy, and loud city, I highly recommend this gorgeous home that is walking distance to the beach, not to mention quiet, peaceful, and overall fun!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
