Location: Ventura, Central Coast, California, USA
Accommodations: Duplex, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1.5 Baths (Sleeps 5)
Warmer, sunnier, less crowded, quieter, and safer than the beach and yet just a short five minute drive from the sand. This mid-town hillside duplex is a cozy home and the best value for your vacation or long term stay in Ventura.
It has been completely remodeled and is beautifully landscaped with mature fruit trees (avocado and persimmon) in the backyard, and comes completely furnished.
The floors in the bathrooms are heated tile and the main bath features a deep, Greek bathtub. The light in this home is amazing, including solar tubes in both baths for natural light, a skylight over the dining area, and a garden window in the kitchen that has views of the ocean and islands. Eat inside or enjoy the outdoor dining area. French doors off of the master bedroom open under the lanai onto an 800 square foot deck with views of the beach, ocean, and hillside.
Paintings by a local artist decorate the walls - the scenes are all of Ventura and of the surrounding area. The kitchen has GE Profile stainless steal appliances. The water throughout the home is softened and, in the kitchen, runs through reverse osmosis with a 200 degree water dispenser for coffee, tea, etc. The newly installed home theater system features six speakers with surround sound, a five CD/DVD changer, and AM/FM receiver. It’s great for watching movies, sports, or just enjoying your favorite music after a long day at the beach.
The location is one and a half miles from the beach, forty five minutes south of Santa Barbara, with easy access to the freeway.
