You are 15 minutes away from the Northwest’s Premier sky resort - Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort is for skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, the snow blast tubing park or moments from endless mountain biking and hiking trails, all so close by.

The 252-mile long Deschutes River is renowned for its stock of fat trout and is favorite among anglers. White-water rafters and kayakers also enjoy this river for it’s rapids and rugged scenery.

We rented this home together with friends and from the very first e-mail with the hosts we felt very welcomed. The location is ideal for active families or groups because it sits just outside of Bend's West side en route to Mt. Bachelor. During our winter visit we were minutes away from sledding, ice skating, cross country skiing, and of course all that Mt. Bachelor has to offer. And then in the evening we could quickly get into town for dining or a visit to the grocery store. The layout of the kitchen, living, dining area is ideal for sharing time with friends or family in the home. There is a nice back deck with outdoor eating area, and an attached 2 car garage that really comes in handy during the winter months. It's a golfer's paradise too, and the paths along the course offer endless walking to any age. The kids loved sledding on the gentle golf course slopes outside too. The only thing that could make this property better is the remodel that the host's are currently underway with. We look forward to visiting again in the summer and highly recommend it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Found a photo of two cyclist riding through a magical forest and couldn't get this image out of my head.
A week later I went back to this bookstore and purchase this magazine, read more about this location. Called a local broker for more info on this breath taking city and was so captivated with all the outdoor activities it has to offer, plus the incredible fresh air and decided to purchase this place site unseen.
My wonderful broker was my eyes. Looking forward to my next visit.
