This condo unit is definitely an A+. Well-appointed and a great location (across the street from Charley Young beach, and right off South Kihei road for shopping and eating). If you like tennis, there are courts on the premises along with swimming pools, but go to the beach! The condo has definitely been remodeled: it has a well-equipped kitchen, great bathroom shower, very comfortable living/bedroom areas, wi-fi, and a washer-dryer. There are nice additional touches: beach chairs, coolers, snorkels/fins, boogie boards; plus nice furniture and pleasing artwork on the walls. What's not to like? And the price is right!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The unit was as beautiful as the pictures showed and there was nothing you could want that was not included from very good quality beach chairs, boogie boards and even a cooler to take to the beach that was less than a 5 minute walk from the front door. The shower was the best I have ever used, the high quality towels were fantastic, the bed extremley comfortable and all the furnishings are first class. The booklet in the condo giving instructions on all the appliances and video/tv was something we have never seen before and was very well thought out and came in handy. Everyone should do this as it saved a lot of guessing on operating everything. The free calls home to Canada were also a bonus that was above and beyond what was expected. Cheryl even checked during our stay to see if we needed anything else and that sure has never happened with any place we have rented before. I would give this unit a 12 out of 10 and would recommend it to anyone looking for the top of the line luxury at a very affordable price. Again, thank you Nathan and Cheryl for sharing your piece of paradise with us and we look forward to staying there again and again and again. This place is beautiful and in a great location! WAY nicer than the condo we just came from on Oahu! I would recommend this place to anyone! Not only did it have beach chairs, boogie boards for the beach, it was also quiet and NO BUGS! :) Our only regret is that we didnt stay here for our entire trip! Thanks for sharing your condo, we would love to stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This rental unit was just wonderful. First of all I enjoyed the location. There is a lot to do in walking distance and the beach is right across the street. The apartment felt very high end and was extremely comfortable. We cooked a meal one night and found everything we needed in the kitchen. One thing we particularly enjoyed having at our disposal was all the beach gear. The beach chairs were really nice, the boogie boards were fun to have and we LOVED having the snorkel gear at hand. We had an amazing time staying here and wouldn't hesitate to return for another vacation.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condominium is as beautiful as all the photos! It is very well located in the Maui Vista complex and is very easy access to the terrific Charley Young beach right across the street. You are also within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.....perfect for a relaxing vacation! I've used VRBO on many occasions and this is by far one of the best rentals ever! I definitely plan to rent here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon in Maui where we stayed at the Maui Vista. We took a long time in selecting a place to stay and we were not disapointed! What a great condo! It was exactly as shown in the pictures; all new and modern finishes, very clean (professionally cleaned in between visitors), spacious, and equipped with basic kitchen, bathroom, and beach necessities. The condo is in a really good location in Kihei - although the ocean isn't too visible from the lanai, the condo is RIGHT across the street from the beach, and within short walking distance to grocery stores and pharmacy, cafes/restaurants, etc. It's ideal if you're visiting only Kihei and not planning on renting a car (but free parking is available if you do have a car). Some things that we really liked about the condo included a really big shower, a super comfy bed, keyless entry, kitchen blender (we made fresh papaya, mango, and banana shakes every day!) free long distance calling plan, ensuite laundry, fantastic Maui travel guide, and great TV channel selections. Although we didn't think we would care for the provided snorkeling gear, it turned out that we enjoyed it a lot and were very happy that we didn't have to go rent it! Cheryl, the owner was very friendly and did not mind the million questions I must have e-mailed her at the time of booking - all were answered w/i 24 hrs! I will definintely recommend the condo to friends and family and will be in touch next time we travel to Maui! C&N - Thanks so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us! We enjoyed a lovely rrelaxing week in the upgraded and nicely appointed one bedroom condo. Comfortable King Size bed and lovely walk in shower. Convenient, quiet location and great access to Kamaole Beaches and all south Maui restaurants and shopping. Extra touches included boogie boards, snorkeling gear and beach umbrealla/chairs that were provided. Excellent for couples seeking a truly great location and relaxing stay. Owners have thought of everything to make your vacation first rate.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

I have rented units in the past that are described as remodeled but when I rented them I was very disappointed. However, I must confess that this rental unit lived up to its description and even beyond. It appears that the owner has spared no expense in remodeling this condo. Additionally, this condo is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the beach is minutes away. A great unit,a great location, and reasonable priced..Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Gorgeous, newly remodelled condo -- we loved the rich hardwood and granite look! Fantastic walk-in shower and extremely comfortable bed. Air conditioning in both the bedroom and living room was much appreciated (though the fans did a fine job even without the A/C). Great amenities, all the beach towels and accessories you could possibly need. Appearance of the condo is actually better than the photos. GREAT location, skip across the road to the Kam 1/Charley Young beach, we continuously come back to the Maui Vista complex due to it's fabulous location. Conveniently close to shopping (Safeway, Foodland, Longs, etc) and restaurants (we loved Kihei Caffe for breakfast and Joy's Place for lunch)! Owners are very helpful and prompt with any replies to questions or concerns. We had an absolutely care-free stay and will definitely be looking to come again!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I don't like to write reviews of my favorite places, lest they get spoiled, but I'm looking forward to getting some major credit for having discovered this little gem. The complex is directly across the street from my favorite beach in Maui, and although there are 2 pools and tennis courts and it's walking distance to everything in Kihei, I did two things - hit the beach and marvel at the opulence of the unit. It was like getting Four Seasons accommodations for Motel 6 prices. I'm already booked again for next year and can't imagine I'll be staying anywhere else for years to come.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maui Vista! The condo was absolutely gorgeous - all the appliances were brand new, the condo was beautifully decorated, and the owner provided everything we needed for the beach. Great location - literally a 3 minute walk to the beach and an easy walk to the restaurants and shops of Kihei! I hope to be back soon!!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condo exceeded our expectations! We've been vacationing on Maui for 15 years and this is truly the best one bedroom condo we've ever stayed at!! It's no exaggeration that this unit will sell itself self. The beach was across the street - literally - less than 4 minutes from the door to the sand. Great sunsets on Charlie Young Beach.
