WE are a flying family, Bill was a military Fighter Pilot, then a Fed Ex Pilot, Saundra worked for United for 38 years. Our daughter is an Airline Captain and our son is a Contiental Pilot and a Airforce Flight Instructor pilot. We bought this property in 2004 and it has become a new career for both of us. Making this a place for people to enjoy themselves has been a real treat for us. Many of the people that visit with us come back over and over and have become great friends. We even take yearly vacations with some of them. Office is located on the property.

We have been coming to Carlsbad for a summer vacation every year for the past 30 years and for the past 6 have stayed in the Penthouse Suite at the Ocean Villas Beach Resort, the greatest condo in Carlsbad. The view is spectacular, the staff are incredible. There is no better place to stay. We just love it.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our favorite thing to do is to sit around the fire pit drinking wine and watching the sunset We come here every year. This place is perfectly situated, we park our car and walk everywhere. The Village is so charming, no shortage of great restaurants and shops. This is such a neat beach location we feel really safe here- a true village atmosphere....not too big and not too small. These busy professional two sisters have been coming with us for 2 weeks in the summer for years. The first week of their stay they let their families come and the second week they just take time for their "sister time". They live locally but love to get away for some real Rest and Relaxation. They have told us many times that this is their FAVORITE PLACE TO STAY AND THEIR FAVORITE vacation. They have told us that they don't want people to know about their secret hideaway because it is so hard to get in for the summer. We feel special that they treasure our location and want to keep it for themselves.. We love having them because they are such lovely people and we truly enjoy seeing them so happy when they are with us. We truly enjoy the friendships we have developed with their whole family and look forward to hearing about everyone''s sucess throughout the year. .
