This 2300 square foot villa is located in an exclusive gated community on the red golf course of the Longboat Key Club, and enjoys private beach access at the nearby Bay Isles Beach Club. With an open floor plan and skylights, the home is bright and airy, boasting an interior atrium, vaulted ceilings, and sliding glass doors to a large and private lanai. The sunny lanai encloses an optionally heated pool and hot tub, sun bathing deck, BBQ grill and eating area.
The property includes three bedrooms (one each king, queen and twin set), a large living room with office nook, a separate dining room, a TV/breakfast room combination, laundry room, kitchen, and a two car garage. Furnishings are predominately high quality wicker and leather pieces, and the property is filled with original art.
Our home is less than three blocks to the Moorings, Longboat Key's deep water marina, and five to six blocks to the island's main retail service center, where grocery, drugstore, post office, casual dining/deli, clothing and gift shops are found. Here also is the incredibly active and well-managed Longboat Key Tennis Center, hosting 10 clay courts and three full time professional tennis instructors.
Just a few miles south is St. Armands Circle, well known for it's array of ice cream parlors and coffee houses, upscale dining, boutique shopping, and people watching opportunities. St. Armands is also a regular venue for free evening concerts and entertainment. Less than ten minutes across the John Ringling Bridge, lies Sarasota's booming downtown, with its eclectic mix of art galleries, restaurants, shopping, performing arts, and tourist attractions.

We enjoyed the beauty of Longboat Key. Condo was at the perfect location. Able to walk to breakfast or take in the view of the marina & sunsets at night.The property met all of our expectations. Owners were more than helpful with any concerns.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

A wonderful home - behind two gates - in a quiet neighborhood - close to everything (beach, restaurants, golf, shops, marina and more). Everything as described - and even better. Very private, great pool, owner very good to work with, very comfortable. Everything about this home was first class and, for our extended stay, it was indeed "perfect." We hate to recommend it - because we want to rent it again .. and again! Our experience was Winter 2011 - and could not have been better.

This unit has a great location and the layout of the condo is very functional. It is larger enough to handle six people with its 3 bedrooms (king, double, and 2 twin beds) and 2.5 baths. The lanai is private and the spa can be quickly heated at a low cost for ocassional use. It is well equipped and the owner was most helpful assuring that everything was functioning properly. The owner also helped with useful local contact information. There is an abundance of interesting artwork in the home, but it is displayed in a manor that allows use of the home without great fear of damaging the contents. The condo is very adequately maintained.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

My wife and I rented the house for the month of March and loved it. We had guests two of the four weeks and they felt the same way. The pool and spa are well maintained (weekly cleaning) and the location of the house is very convenient for shopping, restraurants and attractions. The owners are easy to work with and very attentive, every detail is spelled out for you.
Recommended for:Age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.
