Up north cottage with spectacular views located right on 2000 acre Duck Lake. Cottage is in Interlochen, just 12-15 miles from Traverse City and in walking distance to Interlochen Center for the Arts and the Interlochen State Park.
The house sleeps 8-10 people and has two bedrooms downstairs (one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed) plus an upstairs bedroom with two full beds and a rollaway twin. There's also a fold out pack-and-play in the closet if you need it for an infant, and a couch as a last resort for that tenth person!
Lower level has a full wall of windows overlooking the lake and is decorated with log furniture, new flooring, has a full kitchen, and laundry room with washer and dryer. There's also a large 650 square foot deck on the lake side with chairs, tables, charcoal grill, and an outdoor fireplace for evening campfires.
The swimming area is very nice, too. Hard sandy lake bottom runs the full length of our 100+ foot dock and there is a ladder on the dock for easy entry/exit. We also have additional cleats on the dock if you plan on bringing a boat.
This cottage has everything you need for a nice relaxing stay and is close enough to enjoy all that the Traverse City area has to offer. Very close to the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, wineries, casinos, Fun Country water park, drive-in theatre, Crystal Mountain, shopping, and more.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Weekly summer rentals (Sat to Sat)... $1200/week plus 6% state sales tax
$600 is due upon reservation and the other $672 is due 30 days prior to rental.
$500 security deposit due 30 days before arrival (will be returned after checkout)
Deposit is non-refundable if cancelled within 60 days of rental
and unit cannot be re-rented.
Credit card payments are accepted via Paypal, but an additional 4% fee applies
At times, we can also rent by the night for $200 per night with a 3 night minimum.
