  We were two couples with this trip being the first time in NYC for one of the couples. Staying at the apartment was fabulous. First it is extremely clean and comfortable. The location was excellent for exploring all of Manhattan. On our first day we arrived quite early and Chris was kind enough to store our luggage so we could begin our day of sightseeing. He later that day helped us get setttled. While checking us in and showing us the apartment we noticed there was no carafe for making coffee. Immediately (it was about 8:00 p.m.) he left and returned with a new coffee maker. Chris takes care of business and he takes care of you. He was a delight to meet and wonderful to deal with. Staying in this apartment totally enhanced our visit where we were able to feel like a local. Thank you Chris and hope to return!

  Thanks for everything Chris! The apartment was in a great location....heart of the village! We loved just strolling around with our coffee in the morning. Apartment and very clean, super comfortable bed and checking in with Chris was very easy, such a good guy! Sooooo much better than a hotel by Times Square. We will be back!!

  We stayed at this apartment in Oct, 2012. This is a belated review, but the experience is still fresh in my mind. Chris (the proprieter) met us at the front door when we arrived. It was very clean and ready for occupancy. The apartment is situated with easy access to the metro and many, many fine restaurants in the Lower East Side. The apartment was very comfortable for 4 of us (2 couples) We did have problems with electrical outlets not working in one bedroom. Although it was not repaired immediately,Chris responded right away. Additional items had to be procured before they fixed the problem the 2nd day. the best part of this rental was the personal access to Chris. He was very attentive and responsive to issues that came up. I cannot give this rental a higher recommendation.

  I stayed here on a girlfriends' trip a few weeks ago, and it was a great experience. We are all moms of young children, so we are super attuned to cleanliness and this apt. did not dispappoint. It also had amazing mattresses, super comfortable bedding and a lot of style! The neighborhood was great with many conveniences, and was a short subway ride to anywhere. The owner was charming and so pleasant to deal with, very accomodating. I will bring my husband and kids back for sure, as well as recommend this apt. to anyone who asks. You can rent this place with confidence.

  Three girlfriends and myself stayed at this apartment for two nights and absolutely LOVED it! The location is great (close to subway, grocery stores, restaurants, etc.), the owner soooo friendly and so very pleasant to deal with and the apartment beautiful and extremely clean. We will definitely return; I am so grateful to have found this Manhattan gem!

  We were 4, 2 from California and 2 from Sweden. The place is great with 2 bathrooms, helps grid-lock in the morning, after eating good food in NY fourth floor was a blessing, did us all good. The place is so close to everything, restaurants, grocery stores, 2 subways, Chris is great to deal with very helpful. I used to have a vacation rental myself so believe me the first thing I look for is cleanliness and how the owner helps out. High marks from me, I will be back. May and Norm

  Our party of 6 rented this 2 bedroom with 2 washroom apartment located in the East Village. Everything about this apartment is perfect to our needs. It has 2 queen beds with 1 sofa pull-out, washer/dryer, stove, microwave, cable television, and internet. The space is very modern yet cozy due to its size, perhaps just slightly bigger than usual New York standard. Also, the place is impeccably clean with plenty of clean sheets & towels, as well as cleaning supplies. The biggest plus about this apartment is the location. Very close to Union Square where everything you’ll need is located. Subway: Union Square that goes downtown all the way to Brooklyn (crossing the Brooklyn Bridge) or Uptown (all the way to Bronx). Grocery: Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. Pharmacy: DuaneReade. Other misc stores: Walgreen and liquor store. There were also a whole bunch of stores for shopping, cafes to hang out around and pubs/restaurants. This apartment is our home away from home! We feel like a local coming home to this apartment. Whether it’s four PM or four AM, we felt very safe walking around in the area. Lots of people around and also flagging a cab is never a problem. Finally I have to mention that Chris, the proprietor, is a pleasure to deal with. Meeting him is like meeting an old friend and conversation flows easily. If you need anything or have questions, you just call or text Chris and he’ll do whatever he can for you. Whether it’s looking for the closest T-Mobile store or requesting an early check-in/late check-out, Chris was there for our group--always with a smile and positive demeanor. I highly recommend this apartment and I will be calling on Chris again every time I go back to New York.

  My family of six spent several days in New York during the first week of October. Our apartment in East Village was great to come back to at the end of a busy day. Nicely appointed and updated to include two full bedrooms and a nice bathroom. Also a perk to have a washing machine and dryer in the apartment. Location was good....very close to subway and several good restaurants within walking distrance. Climbing stairs to the apartment only down side...well worth the climb though once you see the interior! Would stay there again on next visit to New York so highly recommend! Owner was very friendly and accommodating too!

  Our girls weekend couldn't have been better! A group of 5 stayed in this rental and we loved it. Our flight was delayed due to the storm, Chris was very flexible about or arrival time and stayed in constant contact with us before we arrived. Our apartment looked exactly like the photographs. It was clean, well maintained and provided everything that we needed. Washer and dryer in one of the bathroom was nice, we washed our towels and some of our clothes so we didn't have to take dirty clothes home. Free WiFi came in handy for ordering show tickets and looking up restaurants. The location was excellent for walking and the subway was just around the corner if you needed it. Chris met us when we arrived and helped carry our bags up 4 flights of stairs, he gave us all the information we needed and recommended some places to eat. Very friendly! =) Whole Foods is located right around the corner, we stocked the fridge and saved money by eating breakfast in the apartment. Great apartment, will recommend to our friends and family.
