  This is a beautiful home well equipped to accommodate the 15 of us. Despite a plethora of optional outdoor activities, we chose to entertain ourselves inside the home the majority of the time playing games and visiting with each other. It worked perfectly. The house is well designed into 3 levels allowing us to all be together for meals and game time or to separate into different areas for privacy. The theater room was a big hit as well. We watched several movies as a big group and the kids enjoyed playing video games on the big screen. It was the perfect getaway!!!

  I was amazed by everything! I have high standards... The owner's are even higher. If you lust for luxury, this is your only choice. I've stayed here quite a few times now and I personally only recommend this home if you are going to stay in Hood River. I could go on about all of the amenities, but I hate to be cliche, I wouldn't be doing them justice. They have to be experienced to be believed! Hood River itself, is such a beautiful city with a great people. Everything from extreme sports to awesome wine and beer! It's just so beautiful and such a great place to stay year round! A beautiful Mecca only an hour away from downtown Portland.

  This house is wonderful & our stay there was fantastic! The owners were great, they met us there & gave us a tour & showed us how to work everything in the TV room. The rooms were great with really comfortable beds and the master bath shower is exactly what I would dream of having in my own house. The upstairs & downstairs were both great for hanging out with our entire group! The TV was amazing!! Watching the duck's, blazers, and NFL games on it was the highlight of our stay! Wish we could do it every weekend! Thank you for letting us rent your home, we really hope to come back & stay again soon!!

  This home is gorgeous and very functioning. The rooms are beautiful and cozy, couches comfortable and stylish, awesome microwave! The whole family loved the game room and the movie theater, we had a hard time convincing ourselves to go explore cold Hood River, the house was too warm and we wanted to stay in and cook and enjoy the house. Peg was helpful and put beautiful flowers all around the home. Cooking was easy, i could find everything i needed, and cleaning up was a breeze. We loved the master bath, that tub! That shower! And a bidet! We had kids between 11 and 1, and it was kid friendly all around. I would recommend this home highly, and hope we get to come back again. Thanks Peg!

  One of the best things about this house is how wonderful the owner is! Peg goes above and beyond to see what people need for their stay. She also responds quickly to questions and is so personable! The house is even more fantastic than the pictures. There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy each others company. The kitchen is well stocked with all the appliances, silverware, plates, bowls, and cups. Peg even bought a rice cooker for us when I inquired about one! The house and property were immaculate and our whole family commented on how gorgeous the place is. We would definitely stay here again and we have recommended it to everyone else. Thank you!!

  We stayed in mid Sept. which is a beautiful time to spend in the area. You will find everything in the home you could ever need...The rooms appoints are exceptional. My daughter is in a wheelchair and had no problem moving around the home; our favorite spot was downstairs with the ping pong table, pool table and of course the movie room. There are so many things to do in the area... we drove the Fruit Loop where at this time of year you will find no shortage of road side stay sell the best fruit. Hood River was charming for the foodies and brewers. I would highly recommend spending your next vacation here you will not be disappointed We didn’t need to worry about shopping as there was a grocery store about 3 min. down the hill and to the right. There are many restaurants and brew houses in the area not to mentions several wineries…

  Peg/Steve - My extended family and I enjoyed the use of your rental home! We had a full house of East Coast travelers celebrating the wedding of my niece and we couldn't have asked for more. The house is centrally located and the views are spectacular - we have lots of photos from the deck off the kitchen! You and your husband couldn't have been more accommodating and responsive. We enjoyed the local attractions - hiking, golfing, shopping, wine/beer sampling, etc. Thank you again for making our first trip to Oregon so memorable!

  I was a parent at the Nordic ski team event this past winter and we stayed at this lovely house. At first I thought it was a bit extravagent for our small-budget organization. However, I was proved big-time wrong. (a rare occurance) I'm am now more familiar with VR rates, cleaning costs, occupancy issues and in-house amenities having develped my own VR units in Alaska. This home is not just a great bargain for larger groups, but it is a super fun place for group stays on nasty days. The kitchen set-up is ideal for multi-cook projects, the dining table nook is spacious and great for all-together meals, and the rec room downstairs, as well as in-home theatre is just waiting for a fun-loving group to have a memorable time together. Great place, great people.

  Loved the house. Very comfortable, enough room for everyone in our book club to have their own room & bathroom! Amazing home with all the amenities. The movie room was fun and the views from the house were amazing. Real luxury. Thanks Peg - you were so accommodating and went above the call of duty to show us how to work all the bells and whistles. Even when we got stuck with a technical difficulty, to have Steve come out that late in the evening showed you really know how to take care of your rental guests. The First Friday downtown was fun to walk around the shops, sip on a glass of wine, toe tap to the music, and peruse the stores. Took some beautiful hikes to see waterfalls and wildflowers. A fabulous weekend.
