LOCATION & COMFORT - 2 things our condo has to offer. Dollar Meadows is a desirable area to stay since it is so well maintained and located close to everything in Sun Valley and Ketchum. You really don't need a car - you can walk, bike or take the free shuttle most anywhere you would want to go. We are very close to the new outdoor concert pavilion, the ice skating rink, the round and Olympic-size swimming pools, tennis courts and golf course. There are also ponds, flowers and paver paths to enjoy when Spring and Summer arrive. We have a sunny deck to enjoy your coffee in the morning and a gas fireplace for cool evenings to keep you warm.
There are 3 bdrms. and 3 bathrooms and when we completely remodeled it several years ago we went for quality and attractiveness. The kitchen has a granite countertop and high-end appliances. The bathrooms have granite and nice tubs and showers. It also is well-stocked so you can easily stay home and cook. The dining table is spacious - seating for 8 or more. Most of the furniture is new and the mattresses are new as well. We like art so we have decorated with paintings that we think make it attractive
and homey.
* Main floor - large living area with flat-screen TV with cable, DVD, gas fireplace, dining area, well-supplied kitchen and a full bath.
* 2nd floor - 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a connected bathroom and the 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds.
* 3rd floor or loft - a bedroom with a deck. This bedroom has a Queen bed and a twin bed and a sunny deck that brings in light.
This area of Idaho is a recreational paradise - Wintertime - Skiing, snowboarding, sledding, cross-country skiing, skating, swimming in hot round pools
Summertime -there is fishing, hiking, mountain and road biking, golf, tennis, ice-skating, hang-gliding, rafting and the list goes on.
We have been traveling here from Colorado for over 30 years and it is hard to describe the specialness of Sun Valley; you just have to come and experience it yourself.

We had a wonderful vacation and thoroughly enjoyed all of the amenties as well as the space - with three kids, ages 7, 9 and 11 we used every inch! The 3 bathrooms really came in handy as did all of the bedrooms and the comfortable beds. We arrived to a clean, neat and well stocked home. The kitchen had everything we needed, including the extras like salt and pepper and olive oil. While we enjoyed sampling the many great restaurants, we also cooked breakfast and a few dinners at the condo, which worked out great. The location couldn't be better and we loved being able to use the beautiful facilities (pool, tennis, gym) at the Sun Valley Lodge. It was also so easy to bike to town (and feed the horses on the way - baby carrots.) The owners were so helpful in providing us information with regard to restaurant recommendations and things to do in advance of our trip to Sun Valley. We would absolutely recommend this beautiful home to anyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

This is a fantastic location and absolutely beautiful condo. The owner was so helpful and informative with directions, local tips and information, and was very quick to respond to all of our questions. The condo is extremely clean, with beautiful finishes in the bathrooms and kitchen. The layout was perfect for my group of 6. Everyone had plenty of space and all of the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the close proximity to Dollar Mountain, Sun Valley, and Ketchum. We would highly recommend the condo and would love be able to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your fabulous home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We live in Denver, CO. and we both are in the education field, which allows us to have our summer off and spend anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks at our place. We rarely come in the winter, so we like to rent it for others to enjoy. We are avid hikers and there are new trails we discover every year as well as our favorites. There are 5 mountain ranges within an hour of Sun Valley, probably the most beautiful is the Sawtooth range. We also love the landscaping of the Dollar Meadow area with the ponds, streams and paths made with pavers. We do a lot of walking and biking when we are in Sun Valley. Our 2 daughters have grown up looking forward to our summers here every year and they continue to come when they can.
Why the Owner Chose Sun Valley:
Sun Valley has been a family-gathering place for the past 30+ years. We first owned this condo. with other family members, but about 8 years ago we bought it for ourselves and our two grown daughters. Other members of our family come from as far as Washington, D.C. or as close as Boise. We go to Sun Valley almost every summer and we find it to be both relaxing and full of the recreational activities we enjoy. The winter is great also - wonderful skiing and less hectic than Colorado ski areas.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Magical is how I often describe Sun Valley and our place to my friends. The scenery is lovely, the weather in the summer is usually a near perfect temperature. The skies are so blue and the air so crisp in winter and summer too. We love to get up fairly early, go for a morning swim or walk and then enjoy a relaxed breakfast on our sunny deck. For years we have loved the Saturday ice shows, where some of the Olympic medalists perform as well as local skaters. A more recent addition is the concert pavilion with a variety of concerts through July and August.
