This beautiful home is located in the eclectic historic Old North End/Downtown area. This is not a cookie cutter suburban area but a diverse and historic part of our city. It is minutes from Colorado College, downtown, Penrose Hospital, UCCS and Garden of the Gods. It is a short 8-10 minute drive to the AFA.

We have just spent months renovating this 1914 home for the perfect vacation rental experience! Decorated in warm golds, greens and oranges to reflect the Italian feel to the property. The walls are hand troweled with a venetian plaster.
Your home away from home boasts 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, eat in kitchen, dining room, living room, basement family room and laundry room. Enjoy brand new central a/c throughout the home. A rarity in Colorado Springs.
There is a huge back yard with lush landscaping and tons of room for the kids and dogs to romp and play. You will be provided with outdoor games to include bocce ball, lawn darts, bean bag toss, etc.
Outdoor dining for up to 12 with large gas grill and outdoor umbrella to shield you from the intense Colorado sun! There is an herb garden so you can snip your favorite herbs for your home cooked meal. The fresh basil during the summer is divine. Or, you can feast on strawberries, apples, plums and cherries that are growing in the back yard.

You will luxuriate with spa-like towels and washcloths. Enjoy high-end personal size toiletries to include shampoo, hair conditioner, hand and bath soaps, mouthwash, lotion, shower gel and a supply of cotton balls, q-tips and hair dryer. Rowenta iron and ironing board also provided.

You could throw a dinner party for 12 in this 'Cooks Kitchen' with all the items supplied in the kitchen.
Italian dishes with numerous wine glasses, margarita glasses, blender, crock pot, martini shaker, ice buckets, toaster, waffle maker, pots, pans, auto ice maker, top of the line knives, silver ware, french press, Cuisinart coffee maker, pasta & salad bowls, platters, etc. There is a brand new side by side refrigerator with ice and water in the door and a top of the line flat top convection stove/oven.
You can also enjoy numerous spices, teas and some basic pantry items to whip up your favorite meal.

For your safety and peace of mind, ALL renovations and rebuilding were permitted per city building code and the entire property is hard wired with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Locks are key-less digital with your own private pass-code. There is also an ADT security and fire alarm.

We arrived to a refreshingly clean and welcoming house. Many little details were evident in welcoming us. The house was very accessible for our daughter who uses a walker. Our extended family had a great time eating outside where there was plenty of room and furniture to accommodate everyone. Overall the experience was very pleasant and we would surely use these accommodations again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities.

We really enjoyed staying at your home. Under the circumstances of our son and brother's sudden death, the cozy home gave us a gathering place of comfort and refuge. The dining room table was great to sit at and share memories, spread out the things we need to fill out and share meals with our extended family. We will never forget your hospitality, the items you had for breakfast so we didn't have to rush around the next morning was really appreciated. The cottage helped to bring us closer together in our time of sorrow and helped to make things more beautiful. What a perfect home! We so much enjoyed this gorgeous home. It was so nice to spread out in with my family. The renovations that have been done were top notch. About the owner: Owning & managing vacation rentals is my passion. This is my job. My houses were meticulously renovated for the vacation home experience. My work ethics are impeccable and the houses are above and beyond your average home rental. I have traveled to Europe numerous times and feel a connection with the culture, architecture and the general feeling that European properties exude. That is why I've decorated in a French and Italian theme. I enjoy sharing our city with others and enjoy making people feel comfortable and special. I will do my best to make your stay comfortable with no worries.
Why the Owner Chose Colorado Springs:
I choose this location because of the historic nature of this area of Colorado Springs. It's called the Old North End. I also own and operate my 'honeymoon French Parisian cottage nearby on the same street. The area started being built in the late 1800's but most along this historic street are early 1900's. This house was built in 1914.
It is just a few blocks to the I-25 corridor and is minutes from the city center. You can get virtually anywhere in the city within 20 minutes from this location.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
I choose to decorate this house in a Tuscan Villa style. The home has undergone an extensive renovation. The oak and fir floors have been returned to their orignial lustre. Both bathrooms are brand new. Tons of attention to detail went into the renovation. The walls have a venetian plaster that was hand troweled. Painted with the warm Tuscan colors of golds, sienna and greens.
The house is very enveloping and warm with perfectly placed lighting and Italian themed chandeliers. The kitchen was finished with top of the line stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. You can even through a party with all the extra items and accoutrement's the kitchen is stocked with.
I wanted the feeling of traveling to Tuscany Italy when you walk into the house and gardens. Every piece of furniture, decor, dishes, etc. was lovingly hand chosen for this property for your enjoyment and comfort.
I will take special requests for any thing you are looking for or need help with. I am here to make sure your vacation stay is filled with memories as beautiful and majestic as the city is itself.
