This beautiful new year around get-away is located on the 15th fairway of Mille Lacs Golf course. Grab a cup of coffee, and watch the sun come up over the beautiful green fairway in the summer and a winter wonderland in the winter.
If you like fishing, you have come to the right place. You are just 2 miles from a fishing launch and a boat launch. We have a boat slip available for your convenience for overnight parking. The marina has gas, fishing tackle, etc. Ice fishing houses are available if you prefer winter fishing.
Mille Lacs lake is known to be one of the best lakes in Minnesota for walleye and musky fishing. You are just 5 minutes away from Grand Casino Mille Lacs with great night life, restaurants with some amazing food,grocery store and movie theatre.
There is shopping available in Garrison (5 mi) , Aikin (20 mi) and Brainard (25 mi). Garrison has many community events thoughout the year. Visit the Garrison Community Club website for dates and times. There is also the Paul Bunyan amusement park just 15 minutes away for kids
This is a new house with forced air heat and ac. All linens for the bedrooms, baths, and kitchen are supplied. See list below for items povided in the kitchen. Satelite TV and wireless internet are provieded.
Relax with a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the sunrise.Or unwind with a beverage in the shade of the afternoon and look out over the golf course from the upper deck.. The lower deck has a gas grill,bar and outdoor dining.
The master suite has a queen size bed,walk in closet and an on suite bath. The lofted living area has a couch that is a double hide-a-bed and two large chairs that are single hide-a-beds. This area also has a half bath,game table. flat screen TV with dvd and walkout to upper deck.
The main level has one bedroom with a double bed and a single bunk, a full bath and an eat in kitchen with a table and separate breakfast bar.
This house is ideal for family getaway, crafting, scrapbooking, girls weekend, guys golfing, hunting,and fishing get away.

We rented this cabin/villa for a girls weekend getaway. The cabin was beautifully decorated and furnished and was sooooo comfortable. You couldn't find nicer hosts than Mike & Daisy, Daisy even had a plate of cookies to welcome us. We had a great time and would recommend it to everyone.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Look No Further!!!!!! We had a wonderful time here. This cabin was soooo comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed, it is so well furnished. The decks are great and Mike and Daisy are the most welcoming hosts. We were there for a girls weekend but definitely recommend it for any occasion. Would definitely go back. Thanks Mike and Daisy, hope we run into you sometime in the area.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

The log home is lovely! Wonderfully appointed. The beds were great, pretty towels, lots of niceties. Well-equipped kitchen, two decks - one on each level. We wished the larger, lower deck were screened in so skeeters couldn't snack on us in the evenings. The home was spotless. Since the hosts were right next door we could readily ask questions (and were able to borrow some vinegar needed in a recipe!) Mike and Arlene are lovely folks who are very welcoming. I would readily recommend the cabin to relatives/friends. We golfed mostly at Ruttger's, ate at the Lonesome Pine, Zig's at Ruttger's on Bay Lake, the Y Club in Garrison and made our annual shopping trip to the Christmas Point at Baxter.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We recently had the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful spring day and night at this getaway near Mille Lacs Lake. The log home offered all the comforts of home with the feel of the great outdoors. The front porch and deck off the upper level were perfect spots to sit and relax and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Perfect for a family, couples or girls' getaway.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

Great place to stay!!! Clean & well decorated the photos show the home perfectly. Fun place to enjoy friends, food & cocktails!!! Scenic views, and bird-watchers delight. We came up to this home for the weekend to get together with 5 other couples for a "good friends weekend" and had a great time! The home was far nicer than the pictures show and everything was very clean and neat. Everything we needed was there. The owners were very friendly and helpful and we truly enjoyed every minute there. Make sure you give them a call.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
