Intriguing 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home set in the enchanting Maritime Forest of Bald Head Island. This private retreat is in a fantastic location - barely a minute's ride to the Maritime Market and local boutique shopping, and is about five minutes from the beach. This homes also offers a little extra via community creek access, so you can also enjoy the fabulous sunsets over our gorgeous creek & marsh.

Hidden Agenda offers outdoor seating on an open porch or screened in deck. There is a separate crofter, offering your guests a queen size bed, private bathroom, and not to mention a little extra privacy as well. Located on the first floor of the main house is a great kitchen, open dining area, king master bedroom with private bathroom, an additional half bathroom, and an office area. The second floor offers two additional bedroom with three queen beds, each bedroom having its own private bathroom.

            Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We go to BHI every year, different house and location each time: village, forest, River, marsh, beach, condo neighborhoods, been to them all. Some are better than others but BHI is magical no matter where you stay. Hidden Agenda is absolutely wonderful and the Wendy Wilmot agency is terrific. If it could just be warm and sunny for those of us whose Spring Break is in early March that would be good, but I would rather be there in cool sparsely populated March than the hustle & bustle of the busy and pricier summer season. "chacun a son gout!"

            Rating Details: I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was happy with the location. The vacation rental was very dirty. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were bugs, hair, rust- just not so clean. Also, run down. The TV's weren't great. Only one DVD which mattered bc we had rain. We always have fun onBald Head so that was all great. But, the place had ants in the kitchen and much could use updating. The beach chairs were rusted through, etc. WW was great, but next time, we want a cleaner place. We take housekeeping complaints very seriously and our Housekeeping Manager is addressing your complaint with the crew that handles the property. Palmetto bugs have been the bain of Island living this season. However, the pest control vendors that service the Island have indicated that the population of them were unusually high this year. Finally, we are performing detailed inspections of each property to determine upgrades, replacements, and repairs needed. I have informed the owner of your comments for their consideration. We appreciate your feedback and hope that you will consider returning to Hidden Agenda during your next vacation.

We stayed at the end of the season and as such the house was beginning to show stress from use. Property management could have repaired a hanging kitchen door and replaced a master bedroom lampshade. Reviewer Comments: We recently made a spur of the moment trip to Bald Head Island and stayed at Hidden Agenda. We've been to Bald Head many times in the past and have always stayed in beautiful, well equipped homes and have come to expect a certain level of quality. We expected no less from Wendy Wilmot. Our reservation experience with Tamara was excellent. She was delightful and, since there were no tram reservations available until late in the evening of our arrival, she even arranged for a golf cart to be waiting for us when we arrived on the island. But, while the layout and the location of the house were both perfect, we were very disappointed in the condition of the house. Check in was at 4 and we didn't arrive until 5 but the young people cleaning were just getting started. I'm sure they felt rushed but the cleaning job was less than stellar. The upholstery was really filthy and two of the kitchen cabinet doors were either missing or hanging off with broken hinges. The master bathroom was dirty and the bath mat was so worn and filthy that we just pushed it aside. It rained amazing amounts while we were there and we had to spend time making sure pots and bowls were in place to catch the leaks in the ceiling in the dining room. The leaks had obviously been there awhile as the stains and holes in the Sheetrock were there before the rain started. Two golf carts were available for use but one of them is in need of repair. There is a loud clanging noise coming from underneath the cart. it's a shame to let what was once a nice house get in this kind of shape. I hope this review will spur the owners into doing some repairs and maintenance. This would be a wonderful home with great space for a large crowd with some upkeep and care.

            Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WW was very attentive and made themselves readily available. I felt quite comfortable contacting them after to give maintenance feedback (noted below). We love the house for the following reasons: PET FRIENDLY, great location, quiet cul-de-sac, sensible floor plan, efficient outdoor space. Drawbacks: leaky ceiling (only during rain), rickety/inefficient cabinets, lots and lots of roaches (we don't care but others will), and dated decor.

The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful property in a perfect location. Love the crofter. There were some problems with the air conditioning unit which were responded to and handled, but the unit still did not cool the master bedroom. Would recommend that the property be treated for roaches as there were large ones which came out in the evenings. The Wendy Wilmont staff were very accommodating of our early arrival on the day of checkin. Thank you!
