  What can we say, but WOW! Our stay at VRBO 388004 was more than we could have imagined. A warm, comfortable, updated home - the view is absolutely addictive! It sits on a hilltop overlooking a valley of vineyards. We awakened each morning to an awesome sunrise over the neighboring hilltop, with the sounds of many different birds chirping. Many superlatives for this house: ~ The kitchen is a cook’s dream. Top of the line appliances and fully equipped. We needed a 2 week stay to more fully enjoy the cooking. ~ The outdoor space is fabulous – the pool, the hot tub, even solar-powered tiki torches, and, again, the view. ~ Beds are cozy and comfortable. ~Great PB furnishings – large gathering spaces. ~Ease of location – 8 minutes to the charming Sonoma Plaza. ~And did we say – the view!! Thank you to Jayne and Brad for the use of their great home. Thanks, also, for all of your help both during the planning process and during our stay. Our only regret - not long enough!!

  My girlfriends and I all turned 30 this year and have been planning a girl's getaway for a long time. We could not have asked for a more perfect place. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The home was so great that we ended up spending the bulk of the trip there. The location was perfect as well...close to wine tasting, shopping, etc. I would highly recommend this home and can't wait until I can plan a trip back there.

  This house is amazing with everything you could want. Hot tub and pool are beautiful with spectacular views! You feel like you are far away from everything but you are only a quick 10 minute drive from downtown Sonoma. Jayne and her husband were wonderful hosts! Would definitely stay here again!

  I recently stayed at the home for a girls weekend and we all had a great time. Beautiful, clean home with gorgeous views! The owner was always available for questions and had great local recommendations. The square was very close, about an 8 minute drive and very close to other restaurants/stores. The house was stocked with coffee and other non perishables and made for a very "homey" feeling. I've already recommended the home to friends who have booked their stay.

  My husband and I and another couple spent 3 nights at this wonderful property. The home was immaculate, beds were very comfortable, hot tub and pool were great, deck and view were unbelievable, very short drive down the hill to town, fully equipped kitchen, sound system inside and out, fireplace, etc. We loved the home so much we stayed in every night and cooked, listened to music, drank wine and sat by the fire. Such a relaxing atmosphere. Can't wait to stay next year! Also........we had the opportunity to meet the owner one afternoon. She was great and had a lot of great recommendations for us.

  We had family visiting from the midwest and wanted to give them a taste of the wine country experience. The home and location was perfect. I honestly couldn't have asked for more. The home is nestled on a hill overlooking a valley full of vineyards. Even inside you get beautiful views overlooking the valley. The backyard faces southeast so you get a beautiful sunrise every morning. The house is set up to entertain with an amazing outdoor deck, pool, hottub, and plenty of seating spaces. Everything in the house is updated and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We easily fit 3 couples. We thought we would do more wine tasting but ended up spending most of the time relaxing in the pool and lounging. We stayed a total of 3 nights and our only regret was not staying longer. We will definitely be staying here again! To the non bay area residents. Napa is over rated, Sonoma is where it's at. :)

  Could not get a better view from a backyard in Sonoma. Clean home with helpful resource guide books the owner assembled. Great nearby wineries, local restaurants and hiking. Comfortable bedrooms. High quality kitchen/cooking area. Capachino machine adds a nice touch of class. Owners met us at house and were good communicators throughout the contract process thru entire rental week.

  Heaven on earth! Six of us -- three couples -- rented this house for a week of wine tasting and relaxation and it was an absolutely perfect week. There was more then enough space for all of us to spread out and have some privacy, but the open common spaces are really what makes the house. The deck, and its spectacular view of the sun rising over the vineyards, is the perfect place for a morning yoga session. Then, after a great day of wine tasting at the many the amazing vineyards right down the street, we would come back to relax in the sun-soaked pool, to cook in the fantastic and fully equipped kitchen, and to close out the evening enjoying the day's wine purchases in front of the fireplace. It was absolutely perfect, and we'll definitely be back again soon.

  The pictures online are beautiful, and in person it was even more stunning. The house is in a gated cul de sac a the crest of a hill overlooking sloping vineyards to the east and south. In the distance you can see bay to the south. Inside and out it's lovely. Very clean, light, airy open interior with lots of space for spreading out and relaxing and huge windows to let in the light and the views. The kitchen has all the tools at your disposal for cooking and enough space to accommodate three to four cooks (one chopping, one actually cooking, and one or two sipping wine and chatting) comfortably putting together the evening meal. Bedrooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the bathrooms full sized with all the amenities. Two living room areas, one with a big flatscreen, and wi-fi that covers you inside and out. And outside is where you want to be in this house. We began and ended our days in the pool and spa soaking in the great view. The landscaping is impressive with all sorts of interesting plantings that attract a host of birds. Our favorites were the hummingbirds. And just all sorts of great spots outside to stretch out with a book or take a nap in sun or shade. The master bedroom has a little deck where you can spend the night under a thick, cozy comforter and wake up the first rays coming over the eastern hills on the Napa side. And the owners were immensely attentive and helpful before, during and after our stay. Jayne made herself available for questions and when I finally did take her up on the offer, she sent very specific and personalized information that helped us get our most out of our time in the area. Plus she has organized the guest books in the house with even more information about things worth checking out in the area. We didn't eat out because the grocery stores and markets have such great produce and food that we cooked at the house each night, but lots of local restaurants come with a great reputation. And the book explaining the features of the house was also well illustrated with easy step by step pictures that eliminated the need for any guesswork. We used the house as a base camp to not only the wineries, but lots of hiking around Point Reyes to the West and Muir Woods to the Southwest. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this very special home for your stay in the Wine Country area.

  We spent a fabulous girl's weekend at this beautiful home over Memorial Weekend. The owner greeted us upon arrival to orient us to the house. She was warm and great to work with! We were so excited about the homes' open layout and incredible outdoor living spaces! The kitchen - newly renovated, very open, and fully equipped for a foodie - made cooking for a crowd fun. And several large picture windows open the home to the beautiful outdoor setting. The home is hilltop and looks out over a vineyard-filled valley and offers a spectacular view. The three main bedrooms are all nicely furnished with warm touches and have incredibly comfortable mattresses and bedding. My favorite part was probably the outdoor areas, including a patio right off the kitchen - the perfect spot to take in the sunshine and drink a cup of coffee or sip a glass of wine at the end of the day. The pool area is also nicely furnished and beautifully landscaped with plenty of seating and shade. Overall, the place exceeded our expectations! We were so happy with every detail and grateful that the owners shared their beautiful home with us.
