  Rating Details: I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a rustic old cabin that could use some maintenance and better cleaning. The location is really great, though! We loved being on the pebbly beach and the dock and spent most of our day there and in the water. That being said there are a few things that would improve the place: -The dock is old and we frequently got splinters from it, as well, it doesn't have a ladder. -the windows in the cabin have screens that are torn or broken which allows bugs and mice to get in the house; and some windows don't open or have no screens so it is hot at night -it sleeps 10 but there is not a big table to feed 10 people at -a large picnic table on the concrete patio would be ideal! I really wished there was a deck on the cabin that overlooked the lake as well!

  Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Whispering Pines was perfect for our family of four! The cabin had all the amenities our family needed for a wonderful vacation. All we really needed to bring was clothes and food/beverages. My husband and I slept in the cabin and our teenage boys loved having their own rooms in the boathouse. The view and surrounding area is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The private lake beach with its own dock is fantastic. The boys spent hours swimming in the lake. The cabin is conventiently located. We enjoyed day excursions river rafting and horseback riding in Glacier Nat'l Park and shopping in Kalispel and Big Fork. We rented a boat in Lakeside and tubed on the lake to Wild Horse State Park. At night we either enjoyed a fire by the lake or watched movies on the flat screen tv. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

  Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a great trip. We knew ahead of time that Whispering Pines was rustic, but there were some things missing that even rustic could provide. The weather was warm, not hot, but we still needed to have windows open. Not all of the windows opened up and the portable screens only fit two of the windows. (Fans helped) The guest house was terribly hot and the people who slept there had to keep things shut so the bugs stayed out. The setting was great. Great firepit, good swimming, nice and quiet. Most of the rusticity was fine except for the window thing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoyed our stay at the Whispering Pines location. The home was very quaint and tidy and had about everything you might need plus a little more. My only suggestion to Montana's Best Vacation Homes is that the owner "de-clutter" the cabinets and drawers a little - There was very little space available in which to put OUR stuff - like food, clothing, etc. Just a helpful suggestion. Overall, it was a great experience and we will likely be back next summer. Thank you.

We were very happy with our stay and the kids made lots of great memories playing in the water.
