We loved our stay in your unit. Everything was as described on your listing. The location was superb! It was wonderful to be able to walk to restaurants and shops, and at the same time to be a couple blocks off of main street to be able to enjoy the incredible peace and quiet of the area. We happened to arrive at the peak of the Aspens turning and the scenery was unbelievably beautiful!! We drove over the "million dollar highway" to Silverton, enjoying the most spectacular scenery -- especially the lookout of Mount Abram which is stunningly framed by the sloping hills. We also really enjoyed the Box Canyon Falls. We enjoyed evenings on your deck, and were very pleased with the cleanliness of your unit -- and the rate was the best we found. My only suggestion would be to include instructions for the DVD and VCR. Without the instructions we finally managed to figure it out anyway in order to watch a couple movies at night. I definitely recommend your unit for anyone travelling to Ouray. Thank you so much!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing.

perfect location, very clean, had everything we needed. We were alittle hot at night and used a fan provided but could have used ac for some afternoon, evenings.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: During your stay the average high in Ouray was 77 degrees and the average low 48 degrees. Each day was partly to mostly cloudy. I wander if you accidently turned the heat on while turning the thermostat on to A/C. We do not have A/C so the heat automatically comes on. The heat was on when I cleaned after your departure. Had we known about this during your stay we would have fixed it. We hope you return and we'll make sure the thermostat is off!

We loved our stay in this unit! It was clean with casual but nice decor and our kids fought over the comfortable furniture. We tried to eat all of our meals on the large terrace to take in the views and watch the hummingbirds fight at the feeder. Linda was incredibly accommodating and made every effort to make our Ouray experience a good one, including putting out information about hiking trails after I expressed an interest. We loved the easy walk to trailheads, ice cream and the town pool. We can't wait to return and hope the unit will be available again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

This is such a quaint little nook in the Colorado landscape. We have been all over Colorado in the past 6 days. Ouray and Telluride are the most scenic. Staying here at Linda and Tom's place has been so enjoyable! This place is fantastic! Hope to visit again next year.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

This is a spacious and cozy apartment a half block off Main Street. We like it because it is comfortably furnished, has great views and is so close to all that is going on in town. There are some really good restaurants, bars, stores, hotsprings, and hiking trails that are only minutes walking distance away. The landlords are nice and helpful, and the community welcomed us with open arms.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

The apartment is in the perfect location to explore Ouray. The open floor plan is great for hanging out and cooking meals. Everything was immaculate and we felt right at home upon arrival. Being up high, the balcony was great for capturing the late afternoon sun and sunsets. We could even see straight into Box Canyon Falls and Yankee Boy Basin while laying in the master bedroom bed! Gorgeous inside and out. We hope to return and stay here again someday :)Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
