How about 'its the nicest house we have ever stayed in' which are comments from recent guests, If a relaxing vacation in a truely luxury home is your idea of a vacation, then look no further. This beach town 3200 square foot home is located on the Big Nestucca River and the owners spared no expense when they built this beauty. How about TWO master suites on the second floor with their own full bathrooms and balconies. Downstairs are two additional bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen will remind you of a Sunset Magazine article on how to build the perfect kitchen (with a huge river view).
Just outside the kitchen is a large covered balcony overlooking the Nestucca River. The balcony also overlooks the desirable built in fire pit with lots of seating for watching the river and feeling the glow of a real wood fire.
The massive three car garage will also accommodate a boat and a couple of motorcycles.
The house is located just a half a mile from restaurants, shopping and another half mile to all the beaches.

We stayed in the River House for four days this spring. Our group had four adults, three kids and we had more than enough space. This home is one of the nicest we've rented anywhwere and very well maintained. It is clean, new, extremely comfortable and equipped with high end appliances. Anyone that likes to cook will feel as if they walked into their dream kitchen. We also appreciated the comfortable beds and new linens. We enjoyed the fire pit and some time fishing the Nestucca River. Overall I highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a quiet get-away. The only comment I have for people traveling with kids is that the shoulder on of the main road into town doesn't have a side walk making it somewhat difficult to walk with children so it may not be worth it to bring a stroller.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

My husband and I just stayed at this gorgeous home on the river. When we walked in, we just kept saying, "Oh Wow! "! The view over the river is so charming! The home has heated tile in the kitchen and master bathroom, along with the lovely decor that the home owner has very nicely done. Rather than go out to eat, we chose to dine in because the kitchen and front room were so inviting! Truly a lovely home!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is by far the best house we have ever rented! From Sunriver, to Hawaii, to other PC homes, this is by far the nicest. The pictures are great, but do not truly depict how nice this house is. My wife and I, with our 1 year old daughter met my sister, her husband, their 1 year old daughter and our parents for a long weekend. We couldn't have asked for anything better. The house and yard are completely fenced in, which our dog was extremely thankful for. We all had our own rooms and bathrooms, which helped with the different schedules the babies were on. All of us commented that the beds were some of the most comfortable we had ever slept in. The babies both loved to play in the huge soaker tub too. We cooked most of our meals in the very well equipped kitchen and BBQ. Everything is top of the line, dacor! From the stainless fridge, to 6 burner stove, to the 2 ovens, we had everything we needed. For such a large house, it was spotless when we arrived. We were not concerned at all about having two little girls walk, crawl, and play on any of the floors. There are so many little details in this house I can't explain them all. You can tell the owner has put a lot time and energy into the house, and has thought of everything. We loved being outside by the river too. The house is perfectly located along the Nestucca, and only a short couple minute drive into town. The babies enjoyed their first s'mores experience at the built in fire pit, which we just loved. There was not a better way to finish the day then to sit out by the fire as the sun was setting over the river. We even had frequent visits from a number of deer. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your luxury house! We cannot wait to return and make more memories. We would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Pacific City.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
