Run, play or relax your day away at 'Twin Cub Lodge'. Nestled on over an acre of rolling to level land at the base of Rich Mountain in Townsend 'the Peaceful Side of the Smokies'. There is room to roam and enjoy dining indoors or out while taking in mountain views in every direction.
Pitch some horseshoes in the large yard or relax in the rocking chairs on over 550 square feet of covered porch area. In the evenings, enjoy s'mores by the campfire or soak in the hot tub while star gazing. Backing directly up to pastures, it is not uncommon for horses to wander up to the fence for a visit or gentle stroke of the nose.
Inside, 'Twin Cub Lodge' is graciously appointed with designer linens, original oil paintings, and upscale furniture and accessories. Custom log bunk beds add to the rustic comfort of the cabin. Sleep like a king in the master bedroom's oversized pine four-poster bed. Enjoy Plasm and LCD flat screens, TV and DVD players in all the bedrooms, Wireless internet, X-box and a Blue Ray player. The kitchen is fully furnished with all necessities and an island breakfast bar.

Tennessee Football Weekend experience
Tennessee Football Weekend experience
My husband and I met family members at the cabin on Friday. We were thrilled when we entered the cabin. It was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated - even prettier than the pictures. My husband's parents stayed in one of the downstair bedrooms, and we stayed in the bedroom upstairs. We slept like babies in the comfortable king-sized bed. On Saturday morning we had coffee on the porch and enjoyed the beautiful view. Later on Saturday we were off to the Tennessee football game. The property was only about 30 minutes from parking at the South Agg Campus. On Sunday we toured nearby Cades Cove. We enjoyed eating at one of Townsend's family restaurants. Next time we visit, we plan to take advantage of the horseback riding stables located very close to the property. My husband wants to play the golf course in Townsend, and I want to visit the local antique stores. We definitely plan to stay at the cabin again and have recommended it to several of our friends.

Year Purchased: 2011
About: I grew up in the Knoxville Area but have since moved to Dallas. My husband and I purchased this so our young twin girls 'cubs' could have the same smoky mountain memoriesI had as a little girl. We love to get away here and let our hair down. We relax and don't think about the hustle and bustle of our lives back home. We also love going to the University of Tennessee home games that are only 30 minutes away.
This location was perfect for us. Room to spread out and bedrooms for all. It's close to Pigeon Forge, but you still feel that you are out in nature. We didn't want go-karts in our backyard. The views are great !!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
As a designer, I have taken special care in the furnishings of this cabin. Oil Paintings, Ralph Lauren and Pottery Barn bedding. This is a little more luxury and a little less Rustic. There's a mountain feel but with all the amenities of your own home...plus some!
