  Our group of 9 enjoyed the charm of this cottage very much. It is just a short walk to the beach and everything in Bolinas. We enjoyed family "sing alongs" with the piano and other musical instruments in the house. There was plenty of room, and we especially enjoyed the back yard and barbecue area. We had a great family vacation.

  Wedding in Bolinas brought us to this beautiful place. Our large family was wonderfully accommodated. Would recommend it to my friends.Owner was friendly and very supportive about our comfort.

  WE had a wonderful reunion in Bolinas. There was something in the area for all who came. Had a wild night at Smiley's bar downtown! The property was pretty much as described, a very comfortable beach house. It was rustic enough to be able to enjoy, yet still had all the amenities. Thank you!

  This house is the perfect spot for a bunch of friends or a family looking to enjoy the outdoors during the day, and have a great meal and fire in the evening. Walk to surf, walk to town, tennis courts across the street and tons of trails within a 10 minute drive. The backyard gets great sun in the morning too, and the giant picnic table is perfect for hosting a bbq feast. You'll never want to leave.

  a close group of friends and I rented this house for a weekend and had a wonderful time. the location is perfect, right by the beach and the house itself is charming. we loved spending time in the spacious back yard and the kitchen was the right size to make elaborate meals. we will be back!

  This house is a great option for any larger groups wanting to stay in Bolinas. We took a trip up to the town before staying here to scope out the best locations and see where we wanted to stay-this house is right near the beach and tennis courts-a perfect location! It is very well maintained, clean and has all the amenities you will need or want (hot tub, great decks, amazing outdoor BBQ area, ample kitchen and dining space, and a big fireplace that kept us warm), but without being too fussy. We had surfers with us during our trip who strolled to the beach every day with their boards (note that the house is also halfway between the surfshop and the beach). Denise, the owner, was very easy to deal with and extremely responsive to all of our questions. The house was also a major bargain when we rented it-every other house we looked at of a similar size was significantly more expensive. It's great for kids and adults alike and I cannot recommend it, or Bolinas, highly enough!

  This Bolinas home is a great place to rest and relax by the sea. As an early riser, I loved the short walk to the beach to watch the sky turn colors and play in the morning surf/sand. Another short walk to town offered good coffee drinks and warm pastries. People were friendly and I enjoyed the small community feeling. The house itself, offered plenty of space to stretch out, read our books, sit on the deck and just "space out". The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment for our needs. Sunset light was magnificent. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy all the amenities, but would come back again and definitely would recommend it to friends and family. I heard there are a number of good hiking areas close by that I would like to explore.

  Listening to the ocean while in the hot tub on the back deck was a high point. We liked the generous rooms; the unique wood paneling created a cozy ambiance. The house was easy to live in for the eight of us, everything flowed and what we needed was there. We'd do it again, super relaxing. Didn't use our car for three days! The beach, the walking, the town - good stuff

  I loved my stay in Bolinas. I grew up in the bay area and always heard about the townspeople taking down the sign pointing the way to Bolinas. I can see why now. It is a land that is magical to the visiter.A wonderful place to get away and remember the way it used to be. What made it really special was the house on Brighton beach road. I felt at home and relaxed in my space.It has everything you need for a special visit.It was clean and well maintained. The photos truthfuly describe the property. I would reccomend this property to friends and family.

  I love this house! Very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful knotty pine paneling throughout and a fabulous fireplace. We bought crab and fresh veges at the farm stand and had a wonderful dinner! Well appointed kitchen with everything you need. Big brick BBQ in the backyard and the biggest picnic table I ever saw! Great for a family, lots of games, croquet on the lawn anyone? Less than a minute walk to the beach. Good waves for surfing or body boarding. We had a great time hiking around the point to agate beach. Heard some great music at Smiley's. A wonderful get away!

December was a lovely month -- even though the nights were cool, some days were actually hot in the afternoon, and perfect for beach walking and afternoon picnics...and the hot tub at night warmed things up quickly!
