  I would recomend this house to everyone, is has all the things you need when away from home,lots of room,all the ammenites,very clean, great appliances, and all the comforts of home. close to all things that may intrest any one.

  I recommend this house to everybody who wishes to stay in Ottawa away from the big traffic, in a secured neighbourhood with all the commodities of a house. It is a very nice, cozy house, 10-minute walk to a bus stop to go to the Byward Market (20 minutes by bus), Parliment, boutiques, a big shopping mall with a movie theater, or a grocery store. The house is comfortable, with beautiful antique wood floor, dishwasher, washer and dryyer, gas stove with 2 ovens, microwave, wi-fi, dvd player (with no dvds though) and flat screen tv, beautiful dining room and a variety of nice drinking glasses. The house is clean and well-maintained. The owners are neighbours and very generous of information and help The only inconvenient I could find in the house is the lack of a phone. So, make sure to bring your mobile phone with you.

  This was an excellent choice, the house is in a great location, very spacious and nice and fully equipped with everything one needs. The landlord is very friendly, welcoming , accommodating and helpful. Also the price/value ratio is excellent. We can highly recommend it!

  The listing description was accurate, except that we never got the bbq. It was clean and well maintained except for water damage in the second bedroom. The owner was very helpful with suggestions about trendy shopping, restaurants and bakeries. Very comfortable for 2 couples. We were there for the Ottawa marathon and never ran out of things to do for a whole week. The rental is centrally located with everything we needed within a short distance, either walking or driving. We would recommend it to friends.

  We stayed for 8 weeks. PROS: The Property was clean and well presented, fireplace was great. Kitchen and bathroom were well appointed, Lots of good restaurants in the immediate vicinity, walking distance to shopping. Owners were very pleasant and helpful and problems were promptly fixed. Wi-Fi worked well. CONS: The one upstairs bathroom was somewhat inconvenient, and not suitable for 55+ or people with disabilities. Second bedroom was a disappointment (beds not comfortable and not a lot of room- probably great for kids, just not my 66 year old sister!), and the computer was not as described (crashed repeatedly and software was out of date). Imposing bi-weekly cleaning at $90 for a 1 hr cleaning was quite expensive in my personal experience. For longer stays like ours I would recommend monthly cleaning, and including it in the rate. Overall I thought the luxury in the description was a bit overstated, it was comfortable and clean, but a little overpriced, (particularly with the addition of $360 for 4 cleanings, 2 of them unnecessary.)

We take great pride in our home that has been renovated with loving care to restore it to it's original charm with original wood and stained glass windows amongst other features. We truly try to ensure a proper fit, both ways between rentor and rentee before renting our home and we are very open to providing additional pictures or information upon request to help make this fit happen. As to cleaning of our home, our cleaners are meticulous and sometimes are 3 persons for the period of time cleaning at the house. Never is a couch unturned or floor unmoped. It is important for the maintenance of the house over the long term for all who choose to rent our property in the future.

  This house rental is a true gem. It was immaculately cleaned and furnished, and ideal whether you wanted to hit the town every night or cook nice meals with your family. The owners are warm, very knowledgeable about all areas of the city, and go out of their way to ensure all your needs are met. The Hintenberg, the area of the city where this property is located, is a pleasant walk to shopping and eating on Wellington St, minutes to Parliament, and 15 minutes to hiking in Quebec. Whatever you are looking for can be accomplished with ease. We would definitely stay here again.

  This is a beautifully decorated, character home close to downtown, the O-train, transitway, and many restaurants. We were a family of six with 2 young kids that slept fairly comfortably. The home had almost every kitchen amenity from spices, different teas, cook books, and everything you could use to cook a gourmet meal. The owners were accommodating and helpful. They provided plastic drinking cups, a bathroom step stool and safety plug protectors for children. Short of having toys or a yard, there is a beautiful playground close by. Although there is a washer/dryer available, the washer was broken while we were there. Having said that, the owners (who live next door) offered us theirs. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

  I was a guest for almost a month, and I immediately felt right at home in both the house and the neighbourhood. The furniture is beautiful, with many solid wood antiques. The house is quiet, very safe, and so well decorated that I really didn't want to leave. This experience was much, much nicer than staying in a suite hotel for a longer stay, as I had all the benefits of being at my own home, without the clutter and responsibility! It was such a treat to have a full kitchen with beautiful, new stainless-steel appliances, and I was able to entertain in the separate dining room (with gorgeous oak table). The master bed is extremely comfortable, and there is ample closet space, and lots of mirrors, which I love. Also great is the front porch, which is set back from the street, and has a lovely place to sit and relax (if it's warm out!). I spent many happy mornings out there. I loved the restaurants nearby, with first rate Vietnamese, wood-oven pizza, vegetarian, Thai, etc. It's very easy to get around Ottawa as well, with a bus stop at the end of the block.   Bravo........we really enjoyed our stay.........no disappointments. My husband and I liked the proximity to Wellington Street with all it's boutiques and restaurants as well as close-by Preston St. which we found out is Ottawa's "Little Italy" I would recommend the Back Lane Café on Wellington, a five minute walk to an intimate moderately priced retro restaurant with the owner greeting you at the door. We loved the appliances and kitchen-dining-living room layout. Unfortunately, we didn't try out the fireplace. And, oh, the master bedroom bed.....very comfy and cosy. Although our stay was short and we didn't have time to explore other attractions of Ottawa, we definitely recommend staying. Marie Guindon, St-Bruno, QC
