You are more than deserving of that postcard moment that lets your mind relax and enjoy the pure bliss that Maui has to offer. Imagine walking down to the white sandy beaches of Kamaole II just seconds away from the condo after making a beautiful dinner in our fully equipped kitchen to enjoy the warm, calming colours of the romantic sunset.
Our condo is Unit A102 which is conveniently the closest units to the beach in the Maui Banyan. Located steps from the beach it makes it easy to enjoy the healing hawaiian sun all day, and be close to home at the same time. If enjoying the flora and fauna of the Maui Banyan is a point of interest, enjoy yourself in our private, ground level backyard with a close BBQ, table and chairs available for your use. The backyard is a secluded tropical garden, with many native flowers to provide a light fragrant aromatic breeze to relax with. All the gardens located on the grounds of the Maui Banyan are carefully manicured and prove to be a fabulous morning walk through the complex on the stable concrete paths. Weaving through the complex you will find many amenities to take advantage of including: two pools, tennis courts, and covered parking. Within our A102 condo you will feel right at home, as it is fully furnished with newer appliances (including a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and stove), roomy cabinets, fresh bedding, crisp clean linens and towels, and comforting furnishings. In the main unit there is a master bedroom with a king size bed, that you can close the french doors on to seclude yourself from the living room. There is one bathroom that can be accessed not only from the master bedroom but from the kitchen as well. The toilet and bathtub shower is separated and private from the sink and top load washer/front load dryer. In the living room there is a couch that can be converted into a bed for extra sleeping space. A kitchen table that sits four and the bar stools at the centre counter island provide ample space for a friends and family dinner. Settle down in the evenings to a nice movie, or enjoy the cable channels on the flatscreen TV. For your days spent at the beach, feel free to use the beach toys and enjoy the family safe surf at Kamaole II beach right across the street.
The lock off portion of Unit A102 is perfect if you have a large group and want to use both the main unit and open the door for more space, or can be rented separately if you were simply looking for a place to rest your head with no kitchen. The lock off includes two twin beds and a full bathroom including a sink, toilet and private walk-in shower. There is a kitchenette, a cafe style seating area, perfect for two. Enjoy the secluded ground level patio out back in the lush tropical garden.
You will find there is everything you need to enjoy your stay and the surroundings of Kihei. No matter where you go in Kihei there is something for everyone. Walk to local shopping and flea markets or enjoy Maui's famous mahi mahi fish dishes any one of the pubs and restaurants minutes away from the condo. If you come to Maui in search of perfecting your golf game in paradise you will find the ideal course for whatever level you are at on one of the many golf courses of Wailea and Makena. If you're someone who enjoys the sun and the surf, activities such snorkelling, paddle boarding and surfing are readily available, and extremely popular. If you like to get out and enjoy the scenery of the island, Harley motorcycles are available to rent as well as mopeds, cars, jeeps, trucks, boats and bicycles. Whether you're looking for adrenaline pumping activities or if you are just interested in sitting on the soft sand beaches with a cold drink in you're hand, all is welcome in Maui.

- We have the breathtaking, white sand Kamaole Beach Park II just seconds away, making it convenient to go back and forth from the condo as you please. Our spacious unit is directly located off of the main South Kihei Road, providing you with numerous close to home options for shopping, delicious local restaurants, and opportunities to take in activities such as golfing at many of the world renowned golf courses of Wailea and Makena (approximately a 5 minute drive south). Participate in local pastimes such as longboard surfing, paddle boarding, and snorkelling with equipment available to rent, and knowledgeable instructors to help you get started at any of the surf clubs located along the coast of Kihei. The Maui Banyan complex has two pools located on the grounds as well as hot tubs and fresh water showers for after you're finished. This was our 3rd time back to Kihei, but our first time staying at the Maui Banyan, and our first time in Kihei with kids. We rented the full condo, which was perfect with our two kids. The condo is a short walk to the beach and a short car ride to just about anything you need/want to see. I really appreciated that the condo was stocked with things that you wouldn't want to buy a whole bunch of, like olive oil, ziplock bags, etc. we did our part by contributing some things that were left over but not perishable. It is also stocked with beach chairs, towels, sand toys and boogie boards. The garden right off the lanai was beautiful and was complete with a gas grill that we definitely put to good use. Sheila was wonderful to work with and was flexible with our stay dates when our original flight was cancelled due to "Hurricane Flossie" and we couldn't get a flight out until 3 days later.

I rented this unit for my late 70's inlaws and was pleasantly surprised. All was as described or better. Two beds were great for this couple to have sleeping space. They were really happy with the accom. Walking to the beach and stores was a breeze and they did it often, no vehicle required if you were content with staying in one place as food and drink are close by, chairs for the beach were welcomed as were the toys left as well. The private parking spot was a godsend as our vehicle was overheight for the family and the parking lot in the front fills up fast. The location of the unit with its ground floor access is awesome for BBQ, lanai, ocean sounds etc.. The reno was done very well, no cheapo materials and was well done....unlike most renos in this complex. The little kitchen was nice, we never used it as we ate at the bigger rental in the main condo but I suppose I never saw a hotplate which would have been useful. The unit was clean and bright. It did get a little muggy in there on some Kona days but I think only the upper floor units were spared a little more due to some breeze, not much tho. Overall, for our last family holiday with all of us together, this was a wonderful place to stay.

It was so easy to relax and enjoy our vacation! Lots of room for our young kids to play in the grassy compound. Just a quick walk to the beach, or pool for windy days! Tons of extras in room, sand toys, boogie boards, coolers, lawn chairs... The list goes on! Loved hearing the ocean at night, perfectly located close to shopping and ice cream for the kids! We would absolutely stay their again!

We were extremely pleased with our stay at the condo. Everything you need is provided for both kitchen gadgets and gear for the beach. The location is perfect as you are directly across from the beach. Shops and eateries are also within walking distance. The unit itself was very clean and the owners were very helpfull with all booking needs. If your looking for a relaxing and peace of mind vacation we would highly recommend staying in this unit. We are looking forward to returning soon and staying here again.

We rented the lock off room of this condo and it was exactly as the pictures showed and as described by Sheila. We found the room clean and well stocked with extras for the beach; towels, chairs, umbrella and a cooler. We really enjoyed everything, breakfast and/or suppers on our lanai, beaches RIGHT across the street that went on forever, and many stores and restaurants so close. Even though we drove to several other places of the island we found the location of this condo to be ideal. We hope to return to this area and hopefully this condo. We had a fabulous experience dealing with Sheila and she provided us with lots of suggestions of places to go and to eat. Thanks so much

Sheila was wonderful to work with in booking unit. We used Lock off room and 2 BR, Kitchen is set up great, appreciated the new Tommy Bahama Beach chairs, BBQ outside our Patio door, use of Hot tub, helpful concierge desk, and short walk to Kamaole 2 Beach and restaurants and shopping. Why the Owner Chose Maui Banyan:
We picked this location for its proximity to the beach, and because of the extremely good reputation that the Maui Banyan has created for itself. As all three of us owners work together as commercial and residential developers, building maintenance and safety is a number one priority. The Maui Banyan is a concrete building which doesn't attract bugs, and rodents which is crucial when it comes to building longevity. Our condo is conveniently located on the ground level, which makes it extremely accessible for seniors and those who have any disabilities getting around. We have found the grounds to be very well maintained, and the staff of the Maui Banyan to be very welcoming and helpful. Being that we are from Vancouver, British Columbia we chose Maui as it is just a short flight over the Pacific ocean and we are there! As previously mentioned, we live in Vancouver which is not only know for it's beautiful landscape but also know for the never-ending rain that pours down all year round. Maui is very appealing to all guests as the weather, and water are always warm and welcoming. The weather in Maui is reason enough to come any time of the year, because you are guaranteed temperatures of around 25 degrees celsius, and a tropical breeze right off the ocean that smells of sweet hibiscus flowers. Another reason that attracted us to buy in Maui, is because it is paradise on the beach with all the similar luxuries of home in respect to grocery shopping and daily necessities. When we visit Maui we grocery shop at Costco and Safeway as it is familiar and convenient. There are hardware stores, banks, bakeries, and hospitals very close — and most importantly its safe wherever you go in Hawaii, which is important for a family destination.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
While staying at our property and home away from home, you will quickly find your way around the area and become familiar with the activities of the island. First and foremost; our unit is seconds from Kamaole Beach II and a short walk from Kamaole Beach I and III. This famous strip of beach is known for its friendly waves and gorgeous sand. It is very family oriented with picnic tables, fresh water showers, washrooms, a grassy area and BBQ's available to use. Our condo is right off of South Kihei Rd, which is a main vein for public transportation. Buses run quite often and are safe and inexpensive. Within walking distance there is a strip mall with everything you might need for your stay, but if you are looking for more upscale shopping a great spot to hit would be The Shops at Wailea or to take a one hour drive to the whalers village of Lahaina. There you will find smaller local vendors selling handicrafts, cute boutiques and great food. While in Lahaina a great tourist and local favourite is the Banyan Tree Park. There are many people advertising great deals on sight seeing tours such as snorkelling/scuba diving the Molokini Crater, parasailing or mountain biking the local volcano of Haleakala. Maui is famous for their coffee and there are many open air cafes where you can sip a beautifully roasted latte while soaking up the sun. As we have been coming to Maui for many years we have developed some family favourite activities to do, excellent places to eat, and great spots to visit within the area. Here are our favourites: - Moose Pub: Great happy hour, and appies - Fred's Mexican Cafe: Huge portions, and delicious - Black Rock in Kaanapali for snorkelling - Makena Beach (Big Beach) is picturesque and incredible for a day trip to the beach and to body surf in the waves - Watching the sun rise/set on top of the volcano Haleakala The best part about Maui is that it encourages relaxation and embodies everything a vacation should be.
