  My husband and I both work retail and we travel to kauai every january to escape . We have been for the last 6 years.Every Year I spend a crazy amount of time searching for a new place to stay.Sometimes I find it......Sometimes I just book the condo at Hanalei bay resort.(nice) This year was a tough year on my family.One of my daughters was diagnosed with Guillian -Barre Syndrome and she was unable to walk for 6 months. We made a pact that if she could work hard at Re-hab and could walk in December,we would take her to Kauai to walk on the beach.This was her dream.......When she started to walk I started my search for a dreamhouse.Due to the circumstances this needed to be AMAZING! I re-searched for weeks. No price to high for me to pay due to the circumstances. I decided to surprise both my daughters and my Mother(shes never been) with a xmas present to kauai. After weeks of researching I came across this house.The windows are what got me.The pictures looked amazing .This house looked perfect! My husband called for me .He worked with Brian to book the house.Brian was so nice and professional and my husband had such a good vibe after speaking to him ..he said lets book it.! We drove up and my husband opened the door and it was exactly like the pictures.You can stand in the doorway and see the ocean through floor to ceiling windows.Words cannot express . Every bedroom has a bathroom.The kitchen is fabulous.Decks from every bedroom. Each person that their own personal suite with privacy and ocean view from every room.you can see and hear the waves from every room in the house.pounding surf.amazing waves and.........WHALES. We watched whales from our deck daily. Im talking up close and all the time. This house matched the importance of our trip.It was flawless. Hanalei bay is our favorite beach but we found it hard to leave the house with everything it offered. We came home after a day at the beach and every time we just could not believe this dreamhouse. The windows and the view cannot be matched. THis is also the street the albatross live on.We are not especially into birds but we were intrigued by their story and the albatross chicks. It took me 6 years to find the perfect house in Kauai. I will never have to look again .I will stay at this house every year! It cannot be matched.
