  We had a large family gathering at this cabin and it was absolutely wonderful! The cabin is gorgeous and had plenty of space for all of our guests to sleep, along with a large open kitchen and floor plan which made visiting with others great. We loved the location of the cabin as it was private and quiet. The huge yard was also great for playing yard games and letting the kids run. We especially enjoyed waking up each morning to watch the wildlife by the lake. We hope to return to this cabin again next year!

  Plenty of room inside and outside. Close proximity to activities in the twin cities or the St Croix river.

  Six of my knitting group travelled from the Twin Cities for a quick weekend getaway. We arrived to DeAnn's son who graciously showed us around and answered all our questions. The house is very well kept, beds are comfy, hot tub is to die for, plenty of soft cushy chairs to sit and knit, and views that are breathtaking. The property is feels like you are 100mls away from everything, but just a few minutes away you can find shops, gas, restaurants, etc. DeAnn was very welcoming and even checked on us before she went to be one night!!! Customer service at its best!!!!!! We are already planning next year's trip back to the house because it's too good not to return!!

  This was the perfect place for all 7 of us to gather, relax, laugh and enjoy each others company. We were extremely pleased with how well this home is kept up and we look forward to visiting again. The pictures don't do this place justice.

  My girlfriends and I took a wknd away from life and families to enjoy some laughter and relaxation. This home was ideal! Clean, beautiful, spacious and relaxing. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the lake, picnic table and paddle boat. Inside, the kitchen is good sized and there was plenty of living space to play games and chat. We are planning on making it an annual trip! Thanks!

  We stayed the weekend with a large group, including children, and this home met our needs perfectly. It was spacious, comfortable, warm and cozy, and beautifully set with the lake in the background. We loved how easy it was to get to from the Twin Cities. The large, open kitchen was incredibly convenient for socializing and the jacuzzi tub was incredible (it is it's own room, not part of one bedroom). The owner was very flexible and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this property to others.

  We stayed here for the weekend, 5 couples and kids, we each had our own room, most of which had great lake views. The kids had lots of floor space to roam around and play. THe kitchen was big and functional for all the cooking and chatting. The wood stove was a great perk, it was nice to have that warmth and glow as we were all upstairs hanging out together most of the time. We took daily walks around the frozen lake too. Overall, it was a nice quiet retreat not too far out of the city, an easy drive on a Friday afternoon. The owners were delightful to deal with, they have a great place! We would surely rent from them again for our next annual weekend together.
