ANSE AU TRESOR ("Treasure Cove") is a spectacular oceanfront estate with a historical island century home. This home is beautifully furnished with antiques and has all the modern amenities. It is surrounded by 35 acres of forest, fields ,meadows ,and sandy beach. The 19th century home is on the seashore located on a secluded, unspoiled island hugging the south shore of the vast Saint-Lawrence Estuary and facing the majestic Saguenay Fjiord. Total privacy.
ILE VERTE ("Green Island") is seven and a half miles long and one and a half miles wide. There is an abundance of wild life (it is a bird watchers paradise), plus there are over ten species of whales in the area, and fifteen foot tides. You'll find this island location to be a unique and peaceful haven in a traditional French-speaking community. Access to Ile Verte can be made by a six cars ferry boat at high tide .The island has a general store ,a bar , one restaurant ,and two museums .

A charming respite on a lovely island

This lovely old farmhouse has perserved the traditional character of this quiet, beautiful island. Accessible only by ferry in high tide, the island offers a respite from noise and crowds with wooded trails and friendly, French-speaking residents. The sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway.
