A group of 12 of us flew in from Las Vegas to Park City for the Sundance Film festival extravaganza. Although we did not see any films, we spent our couple days there snowboarding, playing board games, and of course making breakfast and sledding down onto the frozen lake. The house felt so warm and cozy. Although when we first arrived, the internet was not working so they sent Steve over to fix the internet. We ended up having him as our tour guide for the rest of the trip and enjoyed his company. We will definitely be coming back next year!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

This a casual family home with everything you need to enjoy beautiful Park City. The location is conviently located in a neighborhood, on a corner lot, with open space provided by a quaint little lake. After our days skiing and hiking the nearby mountains, we enjoyed cooking, playing games, and getting cozy by a warm fire. In addition, we ventured out for fun activities such as bowling, shopping, and of course strolling and dining on Main Street. The house is centrally located to all. I would reccommend this property to friends and family.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

The home is in a large subdivision with easy access to The Canyons, Deer Valley and Park City ski areas. The house is clean, cozy and very comfortable with all of the amenities that we could ask for, including seasonal holiday decorations that we found much more than charming! We did have one issue with the garage door not working and brought that to the attention of the owner who promptly (same day) had it entirely replaced - we could not have been more happy with the owner's response to our concern! I have already recommended this property to anyone who will listen as it was the perfect vacation for our family. The house is centrally located to many of the attractions that any diverse family might enjoy. From the proximity to the ski areas, the Olympic bobsled venue, the outlet mall and the new rifle range. Park City is just minutes away for restaurant and nightlife activities. The entire ambiance of the home was in a word, wonderful!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

This is a good family rental home, north of the downtown areas, about half way between The Canyons & Olympic Park. (And it is a short walk to a bus stop for the free Park City bus system). It is large enough to sleep a large family (or two) and VERY kid friendly. The best part of this rental is working with the owners who made sure that we truly felt like guests in their home. They have several children and made all their “toys” – bikes, a paddleboat, balls for every sport – available to us during our month-long summertime visit. The house also has two rooms each with bunk beds – a queen below & twin above. There are also three bedrooms for the “big kids” with a King or Queens, too. The kitchen & laundry rooms were well equipped and a big plus for our crew. The patio is great for sunrise coffees, entertaining & family dinners. It has two tables with seating for ten, a spa (which was broken for half our stay) and a gas grill. The lake is great for paddle-boating and feeding ducks but not for swimming (leeches). A larger lake two blocks away also has a terrific park which our kids loved -- we biked or walked there nearly every night. A highly responsive and conscientious local neighbor is on call to manage any issues which might arise. The house is showing the effects of 25+ winters and needs some TLC around the windows, screen doors, etc. Like many houses in the mountain west, it also is NOT air-conditioned; it would have been a welcome addition during this historically hot summer. There is also no land-line phone so you are beholden to the quality of your cell coverage – it can be problematic in the mountains. There is wifi but we found the speed & connectivity were inconsistent. Overall, the house worked very well for our family and gave us a great base from which to explore the Wasatch Range and all that Park City offers in the summer.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This is a great property!! We had 7 people and had plenty of space! The kids loved the yard - plenty of room for sledding and outdoor play. Separate playroom for them so they could watch their movies separate from adults. Owners have every amenity you can think of. The house is set up really nice and could easily accommodate two families. Very clean, comfortable. Actually is bigger than it looks on pictures. Close to restaurants, bowling alley and skiing. The teenagers like Canyons for snowboarding. Would highly recommend it.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, age 55+, sightseeing.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: We purchased this property as a vacation home for our family of six just over four years ago after spending a yearlong sabbatical in Park City. Our permanent residence is San Diego, an easy 1 1/2 hour flight away. We fell in love with Park City when we were here and learned that although people come for the winter they stay for the wonderful summer! There is so much to do in the area and we found it was a wonderful way to build memories with our kids and our friends who loved coming to visit. While we looked at a lot of different areas in Park City, we settled in the Silver Springs area because it was very centrally located to the ski areas in the winter and flat so we could ride our bikes everywhere in the summer. The home is not one with big modern feel, but is cozy and very functional for a large family or even two families! There are two quite separate living areas.
Why the Owner Chose Willow Bend West:
Besides the perfect location in a neighborhood and close to everything Park City has to offers, we also realized that the elevation of about 6000 feet was easy to acclimate to. In the winter, we love the sledding and snowshoeing the property provides and, in the summer, we love biking and hiking and the easy access to all parts of the town. We also had to travel a fair amount and found that being close access to in/out of town cut off a fair amount of travel time as we avoided any skier traffic and could always get out even when there was a big snowfall.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The house is a comfortable, clean, cozy place for a family to reconnect, make some special memories, get away from the worries of the world and embrace the simple, healthy lifestyle of the mountains. It is easy to get to from the SLC airport and is close to everything including the bus system that is unique to Park City. It is also close to the Jordanelle Reservoir which offers boating and fishing in the summer as well as some of the best fly fishing in the country on the Provo River.
