MAYBELLE'S COTTAGE~. At Maybelle's you will feel like you are 'Away from it all' but you are actually less than a mile from town and the State Park. Have your coffee by the waterfall while listening to the songbirds of summer or start a chilly fall morning by soaking in the hot tub and coffee by the outdoor fire pit. Have lunch on the back deck under the shady Wisteria vines. Winter mornings couldn't be more cozy than spent in front of a roaring fire. We highly recommend ending your day by having one of our professional massage therapists come to your cottage and give you a relaxing massage either under the stars or in front of the fire.

ROBINWOOD STUDIO~ Tucked in the corner of the Inn grounds sits the former architectural studio of Judson Rodgers, newly reborn in 2009 as Robinwood Studio . Judson Rodgers studied under Frank Lloyd Wright and went on to develop his own style which we are very lucky to have several examples of right here in Brown County.
Although Robinwood Studio was renovated in 2003, the Bedroom still retains much of its original building including the stone fireplace. The large windows in the living room provides a beautiful view of the sunset sky and the abundant bird life that will visit your feeder. In fact, we vote Robinwood Studio as the best place to 'bird watch' on the entire property.
The Studio is a perfect escape for couples looking for a quiet intimate cottage or an individual in need of a peaceful retreat. The 'feel' in the studio is quiet and reflective, the sassafras shelves combined with the mossy green walls create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere while the wood-burning fireplace provides a warm campy mood. You might be tempted to feel like you are in the woods if not for the plush sofa, warm blankets and flat screen H.D.T.V.

We spent 2 nights in Treetop Loft and loved it so much we added a night to our stay. Lance and Tyra are amazingly nice, the grounds beautiful and peaceful and the cabin had everything we could need. Weekend breakfast was very good and downtown Nashville is just a very short drive away. It will be our new go-to in Brown County.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

What a wonderful cottage! This is our second trip to Robinwood Studio. It gets even better with time. We just spent our 10 year wedding anniversary here. Since our last visit it has become a bed and breakfast of sorts on the weekend. The breakfast we had Saturday morning was exquisite. My husband had ham and cheese quiche and biscuit and gravy with roasted new potatoes. I had a phenomenal belgian wallfle with strawberries and whipped cream. The proprietors Tyra and Lance are outstanding hosts and we are grateful they allowed us to spend time in their beautiful piece of paradise. The grounds are amazing and it's less than a mile to downtown Nashville with quaint shops and local restaurants. The hot tub on the deck is a great place to unwind at the end of the day and to watch the many different birds and wildlife from the back deck was great. Please keep up the great job you do it is such a relaxing stay. We so hated to go back to reality.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We had a great time at Maybelle's! The cozy cottage was decorated so nicely for Christmas, complete with a Christmas tree inside as well as one outside! The owners, Tyra and Lance (and Boo, the dog) make you feel right at home. We would highly recommend this property, which is conveniently located close to town for a visit to friendly Nashville, Indiana.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
