  The house was very clean and nice . But the weather was cold and windy, Just our bad luck. I picked the wrong week for vacation.

  From the moment we arrived, we kept commenting to each other how great this place was. When you walk in and see the gulf water outside of those double sliding doors, you know you made a great choice. We stayed for a week and our two 8-year-old boys never complained about being bored. They played on the beach, collected sea shells and flew kites whenever they wanted. We explored every bit of our end of the island and everyone we met was quite friendly. Lee was there for us if we needed anything. I agree with an earlier poster who said that the pictures do not do the place justice. Looking outside every morning as you woke up was spectacular. We cannot wait to come back!

  Southern Breeze was the most wonderful vacation spot I have ever visited. I took my family to Southern Breeze for a relaxing christmas vacation and Southern Breeze did not disappoint. We have spent many christmas' at various vacation spots and Southern Breeze tops them all. The owner Lee was extremely friendly and very helpful. He stopped by on our first day to show us how the entertainment system in the house worked and explain some of the things to do on the island. We will definetely be visiting Southern Breeze again. Actually, we will be visiting Southern Breeze on a regular basis. This is a dream vacation spot.

  My family stayed 6 nights at Southern Breeze in October, 2012. It was absolutely wonderful! The house was perfect and had everything we needed. The pictures do not do it justice. I looked for a long time for the perfect house on the beach to spend a much needed vacation for my husband, his brother and wife, his mom and dad and of course myself. When I found Southern Breeze I found exactly what I was looking for. It's only feet from the ocean and the view of the sound from the front of the house was really nice. We fished in the ocean from the deck and caught several different types of fish. We watched dolphins play everyday and even sting rays. Out of 6 nights we only left the house twice for no more than 2 hours!! We had no problems but Lee was right on call if we did. He and his 2 children came by to meet us and he's a real sweetheart. We really enjoyed his visit. We will absolutely be going back here. I would very highly recomend Southern Breeze to anyone.

  What a great place to unwind - just as described - very quiet, and low keyed. We couldn't ask for a closer location to the beach as well as having the area to ourselves. Our 14 year old daughter and 11 year old son loved boogie boarding in the Gulf, entertained themselves by catching the little crabs, and playing in the sand. Three days in a row we watched dolphins swim in pods right in front of us! Larger groups would swim behind the shrimp boats - What a sight!! The house was beautiful, very clean with all the amenities described. Ate at Ed's restaurant by the USS Alabama, there were 3 alligators below the deck! Lee, thank you for all of your tips on day trips and restaurants.

  Our family of 4 adults and 4 teenagers had a wonderful week in Dauphin Island. Lee could not have been better to work with. The view and sounds of the gulf right out the back door were amazing. The home was very comfortable and exceeded all of our expectations. When we come back to Dauphin Island we will be staying with Lee again! Thanks for a great vacation!

  We spent a week at Southern breeze and it was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect with the ocean in our backyard. The house was lovely, clean and had every convenience we could have asked for. The owners were wonderful to work with and answer any questions we had about the house and the island. We have already reserved our 2 weeks next summer! I only wish we had stayed longer! I would highly recommend this house!

  This house was divine! Very clean, awesome locale, great view, etc. This was the first time for my family and our dogs to come to Dauphin Island and we all had one of our best vacations ever. We will definitely be coming back again. The owners are wonderful to work with and gave us lots of helpful information prior to our visit. We HIGHLY recommend this home to anyone wanting some R & R away from all the commercial hustle and bustle but still have all the latest and greatest amenities in a home away from home. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you so much Lee for your amazing home and hospitality!

  A group of ladies from my church stayed here. Absolutely wonder place ....so close to the water, well on the water. The owners are great to work with, very nice and helpful, would recomend this beach house to everyone. And again thanks for sharing you house with us.

  This home is a great place to stay. It's in easy walking distance to the end of the island where you can walk for hours and let your dog loose to explore. This home has everything you would need. The living room and bedrooms are comfortable and open. The owners are great and will help you any way they can. The property was clean and well-maintained. I would recommend Southern Breeze to any age group if you are looking for a nice beach home to rent. You will not be disappointed. We hope to come back again!
