  WE had a great time at Summerhaven. Our son loved building sand castles and jumping in tidal pools. The beach at low tide is magical. We hope that we can come back next summer for a longer stay. Thanks for all your hospitality.

  A wonderful, relaxing and fun filled time at Summerhaven. We'll always have great fun recalling our lobster supper, the lobster races, sitting at the shore watching the sunset and exploring the red sand beach at low tide. PEI is so lovely and there is so much more to discover. Summerhaven is a place to return to, thank you so much for sharing it.

  We had an aweseom time at the beach house. Our favourite thing in PEI was all the available seafood. You have a lovely spot! The views at all times are gorgeous.

  We really enjoyed our time here at Summerhaven. Thank you so much for opening your home to us. We especially enjoyed the long walks on the beach and scavenging for shells at low tide. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you again for allowing us to use your home on this phenomenal vacation. We love PEI and all of its breathtaking landscapes. We hope to return soon!

  We fell in love with the Island, the cove and the cottage the moment we arrived. The kids had a great time searching for seashells and catching hermit crabs. We loved Victoria and also took the kids deep sea fishing. Thank you for the use of your home, the accomodations were great and everything well organized. Thanks!

  What wonderful memories we take with us. Your home here by the sea is truly a "Summerhaven". Some of the things that stand out for us are; falling asleep to the sound of the waves, watching the moon over the water while lying in bed, walking the beach and discovering delightful sea creatures, a clam bake on the shore, sea kayaking in Victoria, doing all the "Anne" things and playing in the surf. Hope to return soon, thank you for a great vacation.

  Our getaway to Summerhaven was truly the most relaxing holiday we have ever had and this started as soon as we pulled up to the charming house by the sea. Summerhaven was cosy and so true to the PEI charm we had heard about! The rooms are spacious, airy and very comfortable.The kitchen is well supplied and large enough for the family to eat together. We sat outside overlooking the stunning view of the ocean while having our coffee every morning. We enjoyed many strolls collecting shells on the beach when the tide was out and swam in the waves when the tide was in. Victoria By The Sea is really close by and the perfect outing to get the wonderful flavours of PEI mussels and homeade ice cream!!! We recommend 'stayin' at this paradise called Summerhaven!!!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

  Spending time in PEI in your perfectly located and charming beach house was a vacation we will never forget. We had a great time looking for shells, swimming and walking along the shore. Our evenings were spent enjoying the fresh air outdoors, campfires on the beach, and playing games of volleyball, soccer and tag as a family. Thank you for the perfect, relaxing vacation we were looking for - we will definitely return.

  Our first stay at Summerhaven by the Sea made for our introduction to PEI and it was absolutely a magical and natural one. We found the house to be perfectly situated… its serenity being on a red cliff side with a therpeutic beach yet close to town for major conveniences. We were only 10 minutes away from tourist sites, groceries, fresh fish, restaurants, and Confederation Trail. The proximity of the bike path brought us many adventures! The house itself has such East Coast charm. We loved the cook's kitchen fit for lobster at any time and the attic like master bedroom with cathedral ceilings only made the ambience that much more inviting. It's size is also ideal and accomodating in terms of space for families. Summerhaven brought us a lot of happiness and profound appreciation for the province that we keep coming back! It truly has a special place in our hearts."

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Thank you for giving us such a beautiful place to enjoy our first, but definitely not last, trip to PEI! Your home is lovely, filled with so many welcoming and thoughtful touches - we felt comfortable immediately...we can't image a more beautiful place to have spent a special holiday!

  This has been a perfect vacation. We came here last year as well and were so thrilled to see it again when we arrived. The view over the ocean is gorgeous and the house is welcoming and cozy. Thank you for all the work you have done to make our stay delightful.

  We arrived to a spectacular sunset and gorgeous lupins that were bursting with colour, we picked the wild strawberries and built many sandcastles....we walked the shore most every day, how we loved your Island! Thank you for helping to make our vacation so special.
