Emerald Isle house description
Enjoy the relaxing beauty and serenity of this waterfront gem. Sunsets and rocking chairs on the deck await you at our home in Emerald Isle. If you love the water and everything that goes with it; kayaking ,boating , jet skiing, fishing, crabbing, etc, you'll love this place! . Community boat ramp available that will accomodate a boat of up to about 20 ft. Although considered deep water access, in general ,the waters of Bogue Sound are best suited for relatively shallow draft boats like Carolina Skiffs, Bay Boats etc. We have a 22 ft. Blackjack bay boat and can navigate the waters. You can also dock your boat/jet ski right at our private dock. Outdoor hot/cold enclosed shower, private dock and fish cleaning station on the property.
Emerald Isle is a fantastic location for those desiring to visit the "crystal coast"of North Carolina. There is as much or as little to do here as you would like . If you love biking, Emerald Isle has several miles of newly surfaced bike paths or just stay on our street which has no thru traffic for a gentle ride after dinner. Two "sit on top" kayaks are available for guests with paddles and vests. A crab pot is also available for guests to use from the dock.
The house is single-story with two bedrooms on each side. There is also one full bath on each side with full tub/showers. Our spacious eat-in kitchen is set up with everything you need to prepare a fantastic meal at home or, if you prefer, exquisite dining can be found just three miles down the road. You'll enjoy an awesome view of the sound and its natural inhabitants from the kitchen and living areas. We are sure that you will love this place as much as we do!
