Reelfoot Lake is home to one of the largest wintering population of bald eagles outside of Alaska. This naturally formed lake has been designated a national natural landmark. Walk out to your own private pier where you can fish, watch abundant wildlife, or view a magnificent sunset. Reelfoot Lake is a photographers dream and has been called one of the natural wonders of the modern world. Reelfoot is Tennessee's only natural lake. Boat rental is available nearby, or for those with a boat, a launch pad and boat dock area located only steps from the cabin. Eagle watching tours are popular in DEC-MARCH. Pontoon excursions are available May-Oct. A stone, wood-burning fireplace makes a romantic getaway for cool weather and the large screened porch is great for warm weather. There is year round sun porch overlooking the lake. If you're looking for a place that is unique,this is it.If you're looking for a comfortable place to relax, our cabin offers that.In winter,if your idea of relaxing is enjoying a cozy fire or watching American Bald Eagles, then come to Reelfoot Lake. Or if you like magnificant sunsets or good home cookin, then come to Reelfoot. Many great restaurants are located in the area or use the cabins well equipped kitchen to prepare your favorite meal. Sunset Point cabin is family friendly or a great place for one to three couples to get away. We do not allow smoking and partying. Sorry, but we do not rent to large groups of hunters and fishermen.
