This charming 3BR, 2BA family lake home sits on the waters edge of a natural lake formed by an earthquake in the winter of 1811-1812. Reelfoot Lake is home to one of the largest wintering population of bald eagles outside of Alaska. This naturally formed lake has been designated a national natural landmark. Walk out to your own private pier where you can fish, watch abundant wildlife, or view a magnificent sunset.
Reelfoot Lake is a photographers dream and has been called one of the natural wonders of the modern world. Reelfoot is Tennessee's only natural lake. Boat rental is available nearby, or for those with a boat, a launch pad and boat dock are located only steps from the cabin. Eagle watching tours are popular DEC-MARCH. Pontoon excursions are available May-Oct.
A stone, wood-burning fireplace makes a romantic getaway for cool weather and the large screened porch is great for warm weather. A year round sunporch overlooks the lake. Our lake home is roomy, comfortable and well appointed.
If you're looking for a place that is unique, this is it. If you're looking for a comfortable place to relax, our cabin offers that. In winter relax and enjoy a cozy fire or watch American Bald Eagles outside your window. Or if you like magnificent sunsets or good home cookin, then come to Reelfoot. Many great restaurants are located in the area or use the cabins well equipped kitchen to prepare your favorite meal. Sunset Point cabin is family friendly or a great place for one to three couples to get away.

I apologize to the owners for the delay in this posting, but this place was awesome! It was well stocked, maintained and clean. We have stayed a couple of times and this place is got us to thinking about retiring in this area! The owner was very responsive and we found no issues during either stay. The evenings were spectacular watching the wildlife, and we watched a family of otters in the morning! Can't wait to book the next trip!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+.

We enjoyed our visit at this cabin. It's located RIGHT on the lake. You walk out your deck and you are lakeside. As the wind blows you can hear the water lapping almost like being at the ocean. The sunsets were magnificient! The cabin is very clean and neat and has all that you would need. We had 3 young children we took with us and bought some cheap fishing poles so all could try to catch something. Highly recommend anyone looking for a nice place to get away for a weekend or more to check out this cabin.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.

My brothers and I come to Reelfoot Lake every year to fish. We are interrested in renting this cabin. I would like the location of this cabin. It would be very helpful to me and others if you attached a map to this web site.
Owner response:Thanks you for comment. I will take your suggestion under consideration. In the meantime, the cabin is located on the southeastern shore on Lake Drive about one mile north of Blue Bank Resort and Marina.
