Our month long stay was such a wonderful experience. From the beautiful landscaping to the overall amenities of this villa was more than we expected. All the rooms were furnished so well with updated furniture. The Master Bedroom and bath were very spacious and located on the opposite side of the other two bedrooms and bath. Ideal for our guests who visited us. The open kitchen located next to the large Family room was great for entertaining. Access to the patio and pool from either the dining room, kitchen or family room through sliding glass doors was so convenient. The solar heated pool was perfect for our grandchildren, and the fishing in the canal was so much fun. Just about everything we needed for our stay was provided, including the propane gas for the big, four burner grill, all the bedding, kitchen utensils, flat screen tvs, washer & dryer, weekly pool and lawn service, and on and on. My wife and I highly recommend this vacation villa.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, pet owners.

We enjoyed our stay at this vacation villa. The owners were easy to reach and accommodating during the booking process and during our stay. We felt welcome the moment we unlocked the door to their home. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. It was a pleasure to take morning walks in the neighborhood or just sit outside and gaze at the canal. We even saw some manatees one evening. The house was very clean, neat and decorated attractively. During the winter months it was a treat to see flowers and trees blooming in the yard and on the patio. We were able to eat lunch at the table on the lanai, swim in the solar heated pool and sit in the sun on the comfortable loungers. When the sun was too hot, there was a comfortable seating area where we could relax in the shade. We appreciated that the villa was pet-friendly and our small dog settled in comfortably. She also appreciated taking a break from the winter weather up north! It was nice to have a garage to park our car. The owner also provided some “extras”, including beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas to take along if you decide to visit one of the local beaches for a day of sun and sand. The Cape Coral area is close to many wonderful attractions such as Sanibel and Captiva Islands. We also enjoyed day trips to Naples, Marco Island and Sarasota for sightseeing. There are great restaurants to try out and the shopping is fantastic at the Miramar Outlet Mall. There are also brochures in the home and the owners send emails to keep you informed about local attractions, restaurants and events. We hope to return this lovely home in the future.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The location of this rental was perfect. The house was clean, well maintained, well equipped and close to excellent restaurants, shopping, and beaches. We certainly enjoyed the pool and other amenities. The owner was very helpful in answering questions and making suggestion for places of interest. The property was located in a neighbourhood with safe walking areas for pets and young children. The house layout was very family friendly with lots of space for those who wished to do their own thing. We would recommend this property to friends and family. This was a great place to relax and unwind and to be as active or as laid back as you wished.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are so glad that you enjoyed our location, convenient to shops, beach and restaurants yet very safe and quiet neighborhood. Thank you also for noticing how spacious and roomy our home is, especially for families that enjoy areas where they can congregate together and other areas where the can enjoy some solitude from too much of a good thing. It was a pleasure having you visit with us and hope to see you back in the future.

We had a wonderful reunion with our sons and their families in your comfortable home in this quiet and convenient neighborhood. The rooms were spacious which made it easy to spend time together and the kitchen was well-equipped for making nutritious meals (and the occasional margarita). The heated, screened-in pool was great for our little ones – they had a blast; and the alarm system announcements of open doors is a super safety idea. Coming a far distance, we appreciated the use of the four sturdy beach chairs, towels and cooler for our trips to the beach. Cape Coral beach was family-friendly as well as clean and well-maintained. We also enjoyed a visit to the Regional Lakes park in Ft Myers. Thanks for the frequent email notices with cost saving coupons and deals; however, our group spent most of our time just hanging out together at the villa. Thank you for a great week! - The Hill FamilyOwner response: Glad you and your family had a wonderful time at our villa. Sounds like you will have some very special memories of your family together in sunny southern Florida. Happy to hear that you had everything that you needed for a great time with the family all together, and got out a little to enjoy the area beaches and parks. Please come back and see us again soon!

Owner response: Thank you so much for the kind words about our villa, it's location and service. After a 24 hour drive down, plus getting slightly lost trying to find the right street (the property manager was easy to reach and directed us when our GPS failed miserably,) we pulled up to a pretty, picturesque property. We opened the front door and could not believe our eyes. The first words out of everyone's mouth were, "This was totally worth it." The home is beautifully decorated. It's airy and spacious with amazing backyard views from nearly every room. The furniture is very comfortable (couches in particular) and just made us feel relaxed at all times. We are a family with four young children, so we spent most of our days swimming in the pool and fishing in the canal behind the house. The pool is small, but was fine for our family (for adults, it's more of a "cooling off" pool than a "swim around" pool. It was very comfortable for the adults and the perfect size for young kids to swim around.) We loved our vacation and have absolutely no complaints. John, the owner, was fantastic and easy to work with. Ingrid, the property manager, is close by and easily accessible when we had questions. They've really made sure there are no worries while there. We are not new to renting vacation homes (our family has been renting them over the past 10 or so years,) and I can confidently say that this is one of the nicest homes I have ever stayed in. We went off season, so the price was phenomenal, but even during high tourist season I'd say this home is well worth the money. Thanks for such a lovely stay! We've already recommended the property to multiple friends and family (especially those who are able to fly down instead ;)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This had to be one of the nicest vacations we have ever taken. The house was absolutely gorgeous and very homey. It was much bigger than expected. There are sliding glass doors in several of the rooms, including the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a high bed, comfortable mattress, and huge bathroom with one of the biggest showers I have ever seen!. The home is situated on a canal and the kids had a blast catching jellyfish in the net. The pool was great to be able to cool off after a long day of tanning. It was just like it was described and more. My family loved it, and we would definitely recommend it to our friends!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Six of us stayed in the house for 5 night and loved it. Spacious, tastefully decorated will all the amenities one can think of. We especially enjoyed the lanai and pool area; We fished in the canal off the dock and even caught and released a fish. There are plenty of brochures and information about the area attractions and restaurants in the house. Even beach towels, chairs and umbrellas are provided. John and Ingrid where very flexible, accommodating and have made our stay very enjoyable. Thanks to John's tips, we've visited a nice local beach and went on shark fishing "expedition". We will definitely rent this house again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I just returned from a wonderful vacation at this exceptional villa in Cape Coral. The villa was fully furnished, meticulously clean and included everything we needed to completely relax and enjoy ourselves. The photos of the furnishings and descriptions of the villa’s amenities were both very accurate, as was the overall description of the property. Yet, the villa was even more beautiful than the photographs could depict. Prior to our arrival the owners were extremely helpful in making the entire rental process very easy. Additionally, they provided an abundance of information on both the villa and numerous area attractions. In fact, they were so friendly and helpful, that when we arrived in Cape Coral to start our vacation, it seemed like we were staying at the home of good friends. Conveniently located in SW Cape Coral, it was an easy drive to the area beaches on Sanibel Island as well as Fort Myers Beach. We had lots of fun shelling on these beaches while enjoying the surf, sunshine and 80 degree weather. We played golf at two of the area’s golf courses, dined at several fine restaurants and spent some time shopping. Some members of our family went deep sea fishing and caught a number of fish during their excursion. On other days we enjoyed the villa’s screened in lanai and pool that overlooked the canal that has Gulf access for boaters. We most highly recommend this villa for families and vacationers looking to enjoy the finest beaches and area attractions in SW Florida. The villa exceeded our expectations and provided our family with a very comfortable, relaxing and special vacation.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing.
Owner response: Wow! I don't know what I could add, except to say it was a pleasure having you at our home and you are very warmly welcomed back anytime.

This vacation villa right on the canal is the perfect place to relax and immerse yourself in the warmth and beauty of the Florida sunshine- whether you are on the go or just want to kick back you will have everything you need at your fingertips to make you feel at home. I remember swimming in the pool in the morning looking at the sun just beginning to peak, and also in the evening looking at the glorious sunset. The bedrooms are lovely and have big comfortable beds with lots of pillows. Also for going out in the evenings, you will be close to many great restaurants, malls, movies. The kitchen is big and open with lots of room -- beautiful decor in the entire home. We rented a boat and it was so convenient to have the boat lift. My husband even fished off the dock there too. It was such a wonderful experience, so calming and peaceful and just breathtaking to ride through the canal. We loved this home and after two weeks, and felt like we belonged there! That is exactly the kind of experience we are trying hard to create for our guests. The only thing I can add is your own words in an e-mail that you sent to me shortly after renting your boat. Many renters want to know how long it takes to get to the river from our home, so I would like to quote you from your e-mail: "Everything is going well, minus the weather today, cold & windy. Got the boat, 20 minutes to the river, ran out of fuel @ the n/e corner of Pine Island, Seatow arrived within 10 minutes."Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The house is beautifully furnished, the kitchen well equiped and outside, you will be able to enjoy the Florida sunshine with all the amenities. A pool, a table, a lot of chairs, a living room for the morning coffee and a deck for the fisherman. If you decide to go to the beach, you will find everything you need. Our third time of staying in Cape Coral and by far the best. Dealing with John and Ingrid was easy, all questions answered very quickly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The property boasts an excellent location, easy access to local amenities with a Publix just two minutes away. The local area boasts marinas with bars and restaurants where you can relax and watch the wildlife pass you by, or just a little further afield you can enjoy the likes of Fort Myers Beach to the south (rum runners at 'Top of the Mast' are my wifes favourite) or Venice beach to the north (just about anything at Sharky's is also her favourite there)! There are so many wonderful beaches and placed to explore in the area, driving a little further afield you can also see Manatees with Captain Bob or a day out in Busch gardens.Did you find this review helpful? We had a great time at this home in January of 2011. We were very pleased with the improvement, including features, furnishings and equipment-- all very nice !! All photos provided in the ad. were realistic and we were more than impressed. Home is reasonable driving distance to everything we needed or wanted to see and traffic is not too bad. We went out to Sanibel / Captiva Islands a couple of different times. The Green Flash on Captiva Island has really good food and a mens bathroom that cannot be described-- you have to see !! The best seafood soup in the "world" is at Captain Cons on the North end of Pine Island. It is a small old building, but don't be fooled. We also drove to Gasparilla Island/ Boca Grande. This is a 50 mile drive, but pristine aqua water, expansive beach and not as commercialized as Sanibel -- one of my favorites. The Edison / Ford museum in Fort Meyers is also pretty neat for the history buffs. The Banyon tree alone is worth the price of admission. We also took a day trip down to Naples and Marco Island. Pretty impressive homes/mansions down threre ! Our experiience was just great, The home owner was great to dealing with and the property manager in Cape Coral also very nice and helpful. I've thought about it and can't think of one thing to complain about !! I would recommned highly this rental to anyone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
Owner response: The email you sent to me was very nice, so I thought I would include it as well. I'm so happy that you had a great vacation, and that the solar heater kept the pool very comfortable even in January. Everyone has been telling us that our house is much nicer than what they were expecting from the pictures, which is really nice to hear! You are welcome back any time Cold Iowa People. (your email follows) Hi John, I think we only used the pool twice. The cover was on and we replaced it when we were through using it. I don't know what temp. it was, but it was very comfortable to enter which was nice. I can't really think of anything to improve in the house. We loved the covered patio area in the lanai and even sat out there a couple of times when it was raining but the temps. were nice. Ps -- I forgot to mention and thank you for the nice bottle of wine on the center island when we arrived. Nice touch. .

LOVELY HOME!!!!! We have been here 1 month already and are staying for a second! Very nicely decorated and well equipped. The furnishings are very comfortable and the decor is bright, relaxing and very inviting! Home is very clean and well-maintained. Close to shopping malls, groceries, retaurants, etc.... Great Location! Enjoy relaxing on the lanai, which is also nicely furnished and VERY relaxing, Bar-B-Quing and lounging in the pool. We even have a pair of ducks that have made the backyard their second home and sometimes spend the day lounging in the back garden under the palm trees looking over the boat canal. The fenced backyard is an added plus People and very pet friendly! Owners have been very friendly and accomodating. Are considering a third months stay! Thanks for opening up your lovely home to us!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
