  Probably the best condo we've stayed in at Destin West. Great location - easy parking access, beach access and lazy river access. Decor is adorable - really well done. Missing a few utensils (no pizza cutter??) but really a great place. Too bad the weather did not cooperate AT ALL!!!! :(. Windy and cold the first weekend of May. Who would have ever predicted that?!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  I don't know if I can say enough about this condo. We typically stay in Sandestin, but decided to try this resort because of the great pools. I am so glad we did and especially glad we found this particular unit. From the minute we walked in the door, it felt so comfortable and homey. The decor really made us feel like we were at the beach. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the bunk beds and called that area their "clubhouse." Everything you could possibly need has been provided. The condo was very clean and everything seemed brand new. It was very convenient to get to the beach, the many pools and the amenities at the Ramada next door. Having the chair and umbrella service made it so easy to go to the beach without feeling like a pack mule. I loved the location. It wasn't right in the middle of all the congestion in Destin, but close to all of our favorite dining spots (McGuires, Dewey Destins, Back Porch, Boathouse, La Famiglia, Harbor Docks.) It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had and I can't wait to go back.

  My family just spent a week at this condo. It was perfect! Everything you needed was there...from towels to dishes to a beautiful view from the balcony. The condo was immaculate and well furnished. My kids loved having their own bunk bed area, tv and full bath. My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning overlooking the ocean. The condo is close to the grocery store, restaurants, pier, ocean, pool, and water attractions in Destin. Everything was within walking distance or a 5-10 minute drive. We really liked that there is a washer and dryer in the condo. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone who wants to have a hassle-free, relaxing vacation!

  We have stayed at Destin West on and off over the past 10 years. As our kids have gotten older, we have left the bay side in favor of the gulf side. This condo was absolutely perfect for our family of 4! The views were great, the condo is very nicely decorated and well-furnished, and there was plenty of room for everyone. All of the beds were very comfortable. We felt right at home all week long!!! I would not hesitate to stay at this condo again!!! The included beach chair rental was the icing on the cake. The only decisions we made all week were 'beach first or pool first' lol!!! As usual, the property and pools were well-maintained and the beach area was gorgeous. We will be back :)

  We just returned from a great "Spring Break" beach vacation in this very clean and well-maintained condo in the Destin West Beach & Bay Resort. The pictures accurately portrayed this nice condo. Check-in & check-out were very easy. We love the key-pad entry, you don't have to worry about carrying any keys with you. The condo was very clean upon arrival and everything was in good working order. We loved the classic coastal decor, all the interior furnishings looked new. It was exactly what we were looking for to get that beachy feel. The shower head in the master bathroom was especially awesome! Our 11 year old daughter loved the bunk alcove and adjoining bathroom as her own private space. The condo had a fabulous view of the pool and gulf. We could always see and hear the waves coming up on shore. The best part of this condo is the beach setup each day. It is totally worth it to have a spot reserved for you each day when you go to the beach. The beach side bar at the Ramada was a very short walk from our chairs, serving up frozen tropical drinks, smoothies & a very delicious bloody mary. The weather was great for March. We walked down to the boardwalk and had an open air lunch at the "Crab Trap". If you get "beached out", there are several different pools to choose from at the resort, some heated, some not. This is a nice resort--especially if you are travelling with kids.

  Very nice condo. Good location, near shopping, movies and restaurants. Great view of the beach from the balcony. Good description and photos..very accurate. Very clean and well maintained. We will keep this property in mind for our next get-a-way and will definitely recommend this property. MJ & JP
