This 8700 sq ft mountain Dream Estate fulfills all your wishes for your mountain vacation. You can be active or just relax and enjoy the silence in this wonderful natural venue. It is set in 124 wooded acres with breathtaking views looking over mountain ranges. Because the house is set back in the woods, on the top of a mountain and behind an automated gate, you can be assured you will have all the privacy you need. Close to the house is a level ground area which one can be used for a Helicopter landing (not a Helicopter pad). The house has a strong European influence and has all you can ask for and more.
The Gourmet Miele Appliance equipped Kitchen is 600 square feet has all granite counter tops and includes 2 sinks, big cooking island, dishwasher, warming drawer, microwave, steam oven, double oven, entertainment / Breakfast bar, a walk in Pantry with a dumbwaiter and a television. The kitchen is connected to a glass enclosed "sun" room which opens to one of the outside decks and to the garden area, is a perfect place for breakfast and all day use.
The Dining room can seat 10 people and has a spectacular view (especially at sunset). It is connected through sliding wood doors to the kitchen, the great room as well as to its’ own butler pantry.
The Great room has a vaulted ceiling, fireplace, large screen TV with Blue Ray player, panorama windows and opens to another outside deck where you can enjoy more breathtaking mountain views.
The Den/Game room features a German “karcheloven” (a special bench with an oven inside) which provides a warm environment to enjoy a range of board games and to watch television as well. And with a small desk and fax machine you can easily catch up with your work.
Another big highlight is the master suite. It has a post bed from which you can overlook the valley and the mountains. A window seat, wall fountain and large screen TV invites you to relax and enjoy your time. A private outdoor deck for the master suite invites you to read or sun bathe in all your privacy. The master bath room welcomes you with a 2 person whirlpool located under a window, so you can almost touch the stars. You will also find an oversized steam shower, towel heater, her sink with sit down granite counter top vanity, his sink with granite counter top, separate rest room with a Toto Neorest toilet and 2 large walk in closets. After the bath room you will find a Gym room with workout equipment and a TV.
The Laundry/Mud room with Miele Washer and dryer provides 8 Lockers for your, Coats, skiing and fishing gear, and is connected to the heated 3 car garage.
A spacious stair case leads you to the lower lever into a Recreation room which includes an entertainment Bar with stools, dishwasher, Bosch Refrigerator/Freezer, Ping Pong table, card table, big sofa and a 51'' TV.
From the recreation room you can step out to the Granite topped outdoor kitchen and heated patio, where you can use either the oversized DCS gas grill/rotisserie and/or the Big Green Egg smoker.
Downstairs are 4 guest rooms each with their own enclosed bathrooms are located along the long hall way, 2 of those are children’s rooms where dreams come true and toys are waiting to making new friends.
Each floor has 1 powder room in addition for your guests to use.
Around the house you find extensive landscaping as well as the mountain natural mountain pine and aspen trees. An oversized playground and double bounce trampoline awaits active children of all ages.
The heated patio just next to the grill area holds a 7 people hot tub with a small sundeck and a picnic table. Just a few steps away from the patio is the separate indoor pool house with 2 changing rooms, rest room, an 25x75 heated pool, a small waterslide, 40 inch television with DVD player and water toys. From here you also have access to a spacious sundeck just for the pool house. Close to the house you can sit on another picnic table next to an open camp fire to roast marshmallows, get back to nature or just enjoy the peaceful mountain life.
