My mom and her friend stayed here and loved it!! Loved the many restaurants and shops close by. Also very accessible to other locations (Naples to visit friends!). The property is well maintained and they thought the kitchen was awesome! They enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and loved sitting in the sunroom or outside by the dock while enjoying a cocktail and the view. They WILL be going again in 2012!!

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway.

Really can't say enough good things about this place. I don't know how anyone could ever rate this place badly. We had a wonderful stay. We cant say enough about our guided boat tour we booked for 4 hours. We even saw dolphins out at New Pass. That's a pass into the Gulf although our captain did not go actually into the Gulf, but we didn't need to. We also went shelling. I've looked on the web, and couldn't find another place that had a boat at your back yard that you could rent. Well we didn't drive it though. Also we had kayaks available at no charge that my son launched right from the dock. There are steps leading to the canal and only 7 houses down from the main river. The house was very quaint and homey and really just like the owner described it. It was clean and you can tell the owner has pride in it. It was quite big on the inside although it doesn't look that way from the outside. It has two large bedrooms each with its own bath. The 3rd bedroom was not quite finished yet. I think they were still working on it. BTW we ate at Bonefush Grill in I guess North Bonita Springs. I had the absolutely best crab cakes I have ever eaten! My friends had trout which they said was also very good. Oh, we also ate at the Fish house restaurant that Janet our boat captain took us to on the boat rental. We ate outside along the water. Great food and atmosphere. The shark bites were so good! All in all, it was a lovely tropical stay in our own paradise. We plan on returning this year! I highly recommend this rental...but don't take my dates!! :)

My wife and I have vacationed in the Bonita Springs/Naples area for 12 years...we rented this place for 15 days in february 2012...Upon arrival we were greeted by the neighbor lady who was gracious and showed us around. Once inside we noticed it was rather warm and musty smelling..went to thermostat to turn air on to discover it was locked(with a key) and set at 76....note said not to turn below 76...neighbor lady agreed to call owner to see if ok to unlock and turn air down..after several minutes she came back in and said that would be ok...this was our first inclination that this wasnt gonna be a nice stay ! Then we looked in the fridge and discovered an ice cream container (half eaten)...coffee in freezer too...both had notes saying to replace what you used !!!( like we were gonna finish someone elses ice cream??) Then we looked in bathroom and discovered there were no hand towels ...proceeded to look at the tv and dvd player-this was a 7" screen and we were able to get one local spanish station ....we tried to figure out how to play dvds and were unsuccessfull At the time there was no internet and no tv except the 7" screen (yes I do mean 7").the closet in the bedroom was separated because owner had her clothes there...the bathroom also had a medicine cabinet labeled for owners use only...the dishes were marked as antiques and to use with care There were several photos of the owner and her girlfriends as well as personal greeting cards from owners girlfriends ...alll things that we didnt care to see for 15 days Neighbor lady left and my wife and I talked...went for a ride in car and returned one hour later and contacted neighbor and told her we weren't gonna stay and tossed her the keys...She advised we wouldnt get a refund We decided to lose our money and returned to Indiana to spend our first February in our home in 12 years rather than to stay and not feel comfortable Was a rather long ride home to say the least !!

Owner response:1. Thermostat cover has been removed. 2. Ice cream bars and coffee in freezer were left for tenants' convenience instead of throwing them away. 3 . All decorations of a personal nature have been removed. 4. Tenant acknowledged that he did not notice tv and Internet were not available at the time of rental but they were installed during that same week. A 42 inch flat screen and a 32 inch flat screen and high speed Internet are now available. 5.Half of walk in closet and one of two owners medicine cabinets in master bath were marked "owners" - it IS vacation rentals by OWNER! 6. Dishes are antiques and the sign merely said "please do not microwave". 7. Hand towels were available and now are in a more visible location. 8. Tenant was given an opportunity to rent for another week for free due to any inconvenience.

Bonita Springs House Rental on the water OUTSTANDING!

This Bonita Springs House Rental on the water but close to Naples, Estero, Fort Myers and the new Red Sox Baseball stadium and Minnesota Twins Baseball Stadium is AWESOME! I can personally vouch for this property for several reasons. I have known the owner for 32 years and can assure you she has impeccable taste, and has thought of everything to make your stay a pleasing memorable one; and as being a certified Horticulturist, I have done a lot of the tropical landscaping surrounding this adorable house. Also our deck boat is docked out back which, with myself as captain, will also be available to take out to various islands with pristine white beaches to view the local wildlife such as Wood Storks, Dolphins, Manatees, Blue Herons, Ibis etc or just to go shelling or sightseeing. At a surprising affordable price, this house is quite large to accommodate your every need. You even get a laundry room with washer and dryer and beach bicycles to take a leisurely ride in a beautiful neighborhood. While staying here, even though the owner does not allow dogs, you also have the convenience to bring your dog out to our nearby Naples business: Kindred Spirits Dog Boarding Resort, where they will stay in a Cageless Luxury suite on 5 fenced tropical acres. (We live here too). They have a room to themselves with a view, raised bed, AC, TV bottled water, concrete dome disaster shelters with full house generator (just in case). Your pets can have their own paradise vacation while you are on vacation! So if you have pets, bring them along. They will stay in luxury at the Kindred Spirits Dog Boarding Resort and you will stay in Luxury at your own Bonita Springs house called "Patti Canali". I HIGHLY recommend this tropical paradise awaiting your arrival. You deserve it!!

It was the best vacation that I ever had in Florida. It has all the amenities that you ever want in a vacation home. It is on a quiet street and close to ALL the restaurants, shopping malls. Just wished I could have stayed longer.

A few girlfriends and I rented this very cozy house in Bonita Springs with all the amenities of home. We took a boat from the backyard to some delicious waterfront restaurants. We enjoyed kayaking on the tranquil, nature filled Imperial River. The beach was just a bike ride away. We would highly recommend this property.
