The Master Suite upstairs is spacious and elegant with bath and a private deck. Downstairs is a Queen bedroom and a bunk room that sleeps five. A second full bathroom with shower/tub is downstairs.
This home is beachy and sunny with hand-crafted moldings, finishes and cherry hardwood floors. Remodeled kitchen with marble counter-tops, stainless appliances,dishwasher. Dining area has big multi-paned windows looking onto the nicely landscaped and comfortable backyard.
The backyard has a hot tub, an outside hot & cold shower, a Weber gas BBQ, & elegant patio dining tables & chairs.
Fully connected with Broadband high-speed internet & Wi-Fi, cable and a HD flat screen LCD TV. Blueray/DVD player and a movie collection. Full-sized washer-dryer.
Upstairs boasts a sundeck with chaise lounges. Hear the surf from the decks. Relax with house games, puzzles and books.
Pet Friendly. The Sand Dollar is on a quiet street with very little traffic.The coastal path, just one block away, is very popular with dog walkers.Wonderful waterfront dog park next to Jack O’Neill’s house (The wetsuit mogul) where you can get all the local knowledge from the friendly dog owners who hang out. Dogs go off-leash in the small local neighborhood beaches. Home has basic dog supplies.
Ideal location 6-houses to Pleasure Point surfing, coastal parks, and gorgeous walking & biking paths. 3 blocks to the large 26th Ave Beach.
Pleasure Point is a fun and popular destination -- watch the surfers at one of the best point breaks in the area. Take a ride along the coastal bluffs on the beach cruiser bikes. Try the boogie boards, kites, sand toys and more that are provided with the house!

Party of 4 adults and 2 kids. Great location and clean, well stocked, dog-friendly home. One block to the beach and surfing. Surf school 3 blocks away. Board games galore (Apples to Apples is my daughters' new favorite game). Even a library for kids. Hot tub was great. My 6 and 9 year old had more than enough things to keep from being bored. The house itself has a very efficient layout so it feels bigger than it really is. Convenient grocery store/market 1 block away that also served breakfast and lunch. Pretty good food choices within a 15 min walk. Neighborhood is quiet and everyone was friendly. Would highly recommend contacting Jewlia and scheduling a stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is one of our favorite beaches. Just a 5 minute walk to a gorgeous view of the Santa Cruz Wharf, and sights of Surfers and Sunsets. Plenty of clean sand to get some sun and RELAX. Dog friendly. But don't worry Pleasure Point has responsible dog owners they want to keep the beaches dog friendly so they do clean up. :)

About the owner: We live and work in the SF Bay Area and have teenage daughters. We are outdoors and beach people and always have pets. This home is a great getaway for us and we have had a great time here with our family and friends.
Why the Owner Chose Santa Cruz:
We love being right at Pleasure Point because the coastline is gorgeous, there's always something happening at the coastal parks and beaches, and the locals are so friendly.
We have family and friends connections from this area that go back decades.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love bringing friends and family, hanging out at the house, taking out the bikes, surfing, and taking walks along the point and tide-pooling. Lots of great restaurants nearby - every time we get a new favorite we tuck the menu into the house information binder. Some of the best fresh-roasted coffee on this planet is available at Verve on 41st - they roast it right there.
We love the local Point Market and Cafe around the corner - a classic beach hangout right by the ocean. Good food and friendly people.
You'll see when you stay, the Sand Dollar is our family beach home. It's not just a house that we're renting out. The dining table belonged to grandparents, and games and books from our kids growing up.
