This "Five Star" luxury resort is centrally located on the beach, between the towns of Kapaa and Wailua on Kauai's beautiful East Shore (Coconut Coast). This resort was awarded the "2006 Parade of Homes Award of Excellence". You will find that it truly is the BEST that East Kauai has to offer!
The resort features breathtaking sandy beach sunrises, and the island's only heated salt water pool, with a "lazy river", three water falls, a cave, two water slides, three sand bottom whirlpool spas, fitness room and a child friendly sandy bottom pool area. Our beautiful luxury condos features two master suites plus a queen, sleeper sofa in the living room for additional guests There are 3 full baths so getting ready for your days "out discovering Kauai" will never be a hassle. There is a lanais off one of the bedrooms and a balcony off the other. From the lanai, you have a direct view of the famous "Sleeping Giant" and Anahola mountain as well as some ocean view .
For your comfort, we have Air Conditioning with dehumidifier. To keep you "connected" and to satisfy your entertainment needs, we have broadband high speed wireless Internet access, 3 LCD flat screen televisions, DVD player, VCR and cable with premium channels and a surround Sound System.
Our full “gourmet” kitchen with stainless steel Sub Zero Refrigerator , Wolf appliances and solid granite countertops, Travertine flooring will impress even the most discriminating chef. You can also BBQ by the pool or enjoy selections from the Poolside bar and Grill. We also have a full sized washer and dryer so you will be able to pack light! To assure you rest peacefully, luxury bed linens and a variety of pillow options have been provided.
You can walk across the street to Safeway, Foodland , Long’s Drug’s, Starbucks, and other restaurants and shops. You are less than 5 minutes from the Coconut Marketplace where you’ll find a variety of shops, restaurants and even a movie theater. You are also within 5 minutes of the Wailua River, Fern Grotto, Opaeka Falls, Lydgate State Beach Park (Perfect for snorkeling), Golf, boutiques, Kela Glass shop and art galleries.

My husband and I stayed for 10 days in January 2012 and had a fabulous vacation. We loved the location of Waipouli resort. Being on the East side was centrally located to explore the North and South without too much driving and we had the bonus of amazing sunrises. The shopping plaza across the road was ideal - just a few minutes walk for Safeway, Papayas Health food market and a Starbucks. The beach in front of the resort is nice for lounging and walks but not suitable for swimming but we didn't mind because the pool was so nice. The unit is really modern, comfortable, clean and well stocked. The kitchen especially had everything we needed to cook meals in house and we enjoyed the BBQ's that were easy walking distance. Both bedrooms had gorgeous ensuite bathrooms and the King bed had an incredibly comfortable mattress. Things in the unit that I didn't know about but were pleased to find provided: a small cooler, freezer pak, body boards, beach mats and a bin of beach toys/snorkel stuff. You can get beach towels from the resort pool. As mentioned by other reviewers there really is no view to speak of from the balcony (parking lot and the buildings next door with a bit of garden) and I was slightly concerned when I booked. But honestly it wasn't an issue at all. The pool at Waipouli is so fantastic that when we weren't out exploring the Island we were down enjoying the pool. Noise from the parking lot was never an issue. We had a great time here and hope to come back soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
