                        Basically you get what you pay for. The location and the parking space is great! Located in a great looking building close to the beach and to the nightlife of Condado. The Cons- you only get two towels for the length of your stay, bring your own sheets, pillowcases and duvet cover because the ones provided look so dirty not sure if they have been washed in awhile....Oh and bring your own pillows because you are only provided with 2. Also, the shower is built on a slope so when you are showering the water gets backed up...The bed is a queen with no headboard and the two dresser things on the side of the bed look like they are about to fall apart. Also, there are outlets in the unit with the plate coming off and its basiclaly being help up with tape. Also, no cable, nowifi, so basically no TV. This unit could easily get $100-125 a night if he just fixed this issues. And it would be nice to provide a cooler, beach towels, etc for use since it's one block from the beach. I don't understand why you get charged a cleaning fee when it clearly looks like the unit has not been cleaned especially the bedding!

                        Owner response: With every new guest I do change the sheets, pillow cases and towels. Also if the guests needs extra towels or any other item like soap, toilet paper, this is available upon request. There are two extra pillows in the closet. All guests have to do is call me or text me with any request and I will try to satisfy.

                        My husband and I stayed here for three nights in February and the studio was just as it is described. The condo was clean, had ample dishes, cooking utensils and even soap to wash them with. You can see the water and all of the night life from the small balcony. This unit is just across from the Marriott Hotel and Casino and within walking distance of many restaurants, drug stores and the beach. The Catholic Church is also very convenient, just one and 1/2 blocks away . Stella Maris, a very sweet parish. As stated, this condo is very close to the night life....and for that one might expect there is noise at all hours. Thanks to a previous reviewer we knew this and brought along inexpensive ear plugs which did the trick beautifully. Eduardo met up with us personally at a nearby restaurant to give us the run down of the unit. The parking space was a great plus as many places do not offer this luxury. The complex seems quite secure, with a guard and the need to have your key with you to enter the lobby, then the stairwell.....I felt very safe. I was told however not to deviate from the main strip very far.....as the neighborhood is not as good. I don't know this for a fact but be aware that this could be a possibility. Police presence was visible, which to me is always a good thing. I highly recommend this studio which will sleep two. One note, be sure to ask for an extra towel or two......and do bring your own toiletries..(soap, shampoo, etc) .this is not a hotel. Have a great time in Puerto Rico!

                        Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

                        Staying here was great. The location was great, having access to restaurants, bars and the beach was great (eat at Miro, it was our favorite), and Eduardo is great to work with. Also, since the nearest beach could get pretty crowded, it was nice to have the pool to sit out by. It's not a luxurious place, but it was perfect for our trip. And the negative comments left before have been taken care of. There were no major issues with the place at all. The only problem was cable was not available as stated.

                        We stayed here for 6 nights, and it was a terrible experience. We have pictures that document all of this. The few pros: great view, great location, free parking spot, pool, reasonably priced. Deal breakers: 1. The shower flooded every single time we took a shower. We had to use 1 of 2 towels provided to mop it up, which failed. Eduardo, the owner, insisted it was a problem with the showerhead. We told him it was coming from the bottom of the shower. He disagreed. He came to fix it. It didn’t help. The shower still flooded every single time. This was an incredible nuisance that took up a lot of time mopping it up, trying to close the showers in ways that would make it less, etc. 2. The shower handle came off nearly every time we showered. Eduardo said he fixed it after the first time. After the second time, he said he’d have to have his relative come fix it, but it would be a few weeks. 3. Eduardo did not have a spare set of keys to his own unit. He’d then request specific times so he could come over to look at the unit, which was inconvenient as we either had plans elsewhere or were showering. So we left the keys at the security desk for an entire day. But this meant if the security guard was making the rounds, we were unable to get back into the condo building. Eduardo claimed it was for privacy, but no one worries that the manager of a hotel or apartment will walk in. 4. It was incredibly loud at night. The unit is on the main street in Condado and above a bar that is loud into the night. The window in the bathroom is stuck open because a)there was a hole in the glass and b)the window is rusted open so you can’t even close all the windows to block the noise. Other negatives: 1. Many broken electrical outlets, some with exposed wire– dangerous, left few outlets to use 2. A roach. 3. No hand towels or paper towels by the sink to dry dishes or your hands (2 towels total) 4. The building had one of two elevators broken, a hot tub that wasn’t hot, and poor lighting throughout. 5. Rusted dinette set 6. Dirty silverware, floor, microwave 8. Broken parts of electrical box 9. Patio door and door to room with AC didn’t fully close 10. Shelves and doors in dresser didn’t close fully (broken hinges, misaligned) 11. Smoke alarm painted over 12. No furniture on balcony 13. No Kleenex 14. Ceiling fan shook, blades rotting 15. Cracked tiles on patio where railing screws in 16. We got no compensation for any of these problems despite asking multiple times.

                        Owner response: I took all my guest critics and made it a work punch list ( to do list ) and corrected everything and some extra details. And I do have lots of pic's to show every inquiry. Thank you very much.

                        Easy access to many dining options and the beach is two blocks away. The studio is on the 10th floor of the building and there is a view of the ocean from the balcony. There's a small gym on the second floor and a pool with a hot tub. We were able to get around without a car, except for wanting to take a tourist trip of the bioluminescent bay (1 hour drive to the NE corner of the island). The host/owner of the studio condo was exceptional. We came down for the Ironman race and he was doing it too, so he showed us around town and helped us get our bearings. We had a great time in Purrto Rico and hope to return. There's a Walgreens two blocks away and also a grocery store nearby, but it's probably easier to eat out. Great vacation!

                        Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

                        Just back from an eleven night stay at unit 1005. The unit is perfect for one or two people...large studio apartment right in the middle of everything you could want...pool, beach, restaurants, church, grocery store, and casinos. Nice group of people at the pool to chat with. The owner, Eduardo, is very accommodating. I needed a coffee maker for the unit and he brought me a new one. When I had a problem with the slider to the deck he was there within the hour to fix it. If you're a light sleeper, however, bring ear plugs...the weekends are noisy into the wee hours on this main street.

                        Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

                        Had a great time in puerto Rico. Wonderful island friendly people. Condo in great location. Great owner who met us personnally and showed us everything. Good base for adventureous couple to see the island. Old San Juan. Rio camuy. Areceibo and el yungue rain forest. Charlie car rental next door and bars and casino right there. Would love to go back to see some more.

                        Recommended for: Adventure seekers.
